Hard to describe how extremely unprofessional Cbiz Actuarial & Benefit Consultants is. They do not pick up the main line. Looking for someone to talk to requires dialing random extensions, most of which are busy, or do not answer.
I left a voicemail on some extension, never got a call back.
Finally, after continuing to dial extension after extension, I reached someone to please tell me who the account “manager” is for my retirement plan and give me her direct number.
Who turns out to be the most rude, unprofessional and passive aggressive employee I ever encountered.
The one time she picked up the phone, she curtly informed me it will take her 5 business day to email me the forms I need to roll my funds out because, quote, she is “too busy” and does not have time to prepare it.
Yes, sending an email, with a couple of forms attached will take her 5 business days, peppered with a ton of attitude to make me feel I am just so unreasonable to expect any speedier service from my plan manager.
She actually sent in 2 business days and after a weekend, but since she told me it will take awhile I had to make a different arrangement for the funds in the account. Thanks for that!
A few weeks later I am ready to roll, so I submit the forms she sent me – she does not acknowledge even receiving them.
She does not pick up the phone. Emailed, again to please confirm she got them. Got back one liner “I received the form you submitted.”
I emailed her back right away, not that I know she is not dead, to ask if all looks good and timing on processing. Crickets. Another email. Crickets. Another email. Crickets.
Wow, just wow. I’d try to get a manager but what is the point. This company is rotten.
