The service department

Took my car into the service department at Brannon Honda on Friday, they said they’d probably be able to get it done by the end of the day. They called us at the very end of the day with what needed done on it and they hadn’t even started working on it yet.

Said they needed parts they didn’t have. After Labor Day had passed my husband called on Tuesday.

They said they’d either have it done by the end of the day or early on Wednesday but they’d call to give an update.

Well, they never called and when we tried to call to see what was going on the dealership was open but the service department was already closed.

So we went in early on Wednesday morning at 7am and then waited for 45 minutes to get my car.

Now I’m late for work, didn’t get an apology and when I made a comment how disappointed.

I was in the service the guy who was putting my paper work together didn’t even look up or say anything to acknowledge my complaint.

Never recommending or coming back to this dealership again.

  2. I tried to start the car and immediately heard that something was very wrong.

    I took my Civic to Brannon because it was making a rattling sound for the first few seconds it was started. The called me and told me the timing chain was stretched and needed replacement. They replaced the timing chain, guides and tensioner. They also up sold me on new spark plugs, water pump and valve adjustment.

    They finally called me after I asked to speak with the owner and told me my car will not start. I went to the shop and spoke to the tech. He told me he could get the car started but it would only run for a few seconds and turn off. I tried to start the car and immediately heard that something was very wrong.

    I’ve been trying to get a hold of the owners over the last two weeks but their sales staff and managers refuse to give me an email or phone number to contact them so I’ll contact Honda corporate to get that information and let them know how this dealership is doing longtime customers.

    They successfully severed 20+ years of business that my family has had with them. We’ve purchased a lot of cars from them but it seems they don’t care for anyone but their own pockets in this case.

    Their salesman and a sale manager didn’t impress me at all. I got a car for the price I wanted but they didn’t win my trust. The salesman kept telling me that they have a history of transparency in their sales price which I think is baloney. They snuck so many extra price that if I hadn’t done enough research, it would have got me. Don’t be ashamed to ask for anything in their quote and fight for every dollar. That is your hard earned money. If they don’t sell it for your price, someone else will. Also please check thread in a used car tires!!
