Bottom Line, CPA

What A Mistake

We had multiple recommendations for Bottom Line CPA (Jacob Group), specifically Becky Carlson, a member of the group.

We had her do our personal and my business taxes for the year 2010. What a mistake.

Documents were lost once given to her (thank Heavens we made copies), she completely left our daughter-who was 1 by 2010-off our return after having been told multiple times we had a child, proper documentation provided and even having our return from 2009 as a reference.

And finally, we were charged $450 for their services.

I wasn’t pleased with their service at the time and am even less than impressed now that we’ve found a different CPA for our 2011 taxes and have learned of at least 2 other mistakes made on last year’s return.

Perhaps there are others in the group who can do a decent job, but with their rates and the chance of such shoddy work, they would be the last tax service provider I would recommend.
