I have dealt with a few stores that have such bad customer service. Don’t believe their Goof Proof promise means you don’t need to worry if you have a problem with their products.They will find any way they can to deny your claim. Don’t bother calling Customer Service. They will tell you that your broken furniture has nothing to do with their poor quality construction. Save your money. Shop somewhere else!!!

Also, notice the form they attached so that I could be contacted by Customer Service. It looks like they are trying, but one ever contacted me.

    This company is by far THE WORSE

    This company is by far THE WORSE. I ordered furniture from them that instantly starts malfunctioning (dresser chest) the drawer want stay on track. I make an appointment for repair, the repair guy come out looks and say a piece(sliding bracket) has to be ordered.

    It took 2 months for the bracket to come just for the 2nd repair person to com out and state 2 pieces should have been ordered. All this took place between March and now.

    I call today to see if the item ya been shipped just to be told it will be in stock August 28th and will ship 8-10 business days after that so basically it’s going to take 6-7 months to get a drawer fixed. Never again will I order from them… Horrible customer service.

    I do not recommend purchasing furniture from Bob's.

    Unfortunately the furniture we purchased was built with poor quality materials and started to fail after less than a year of normal use. The foam filling is breaking down unevenly on multiple pieces of furniture.

    This is exposing the wooden frames of the arm rests on the chairs and causing the top of the ottoman to be uneven from the base. Working with the claim department and technicians is time consuming and often unhelpful. I do not recommend purchasing furniture from Bob’s.

    This is a horrible place. Do not buy from Bob’s Furniture. The stuff looks really nice but it is made horribly. We bought a sectional from them 2 years ago and the seams kept ripping everywhere.

    They replaced it a few times and now the entire upper pillow ripped down the seam and the Technician came out and said it’s no a Manufacturer defect so they will not fix or replace it. It is the same issue that we had every other time but now they won’t take care of it.

    Their Customer Service is horrible as well. Buying from Bob’s was the worse purchase I ever made in My Life. It’s not even worth one star.

    The Goof Proof warranty is a SCAM.

    The Goof Proof warranty is a SCAM. In fact the company that does the repairs confessed they wish Bob’s would stop telling people they will come out for anything. They will only come in if there is a MAJOR issue.

    The couch has threads coming out and we have only had it for 2 months. We reached out to Bob’s and their customer service blew us off and said there was nothing they could do.

    Bob’s seems to be one of those places that loves you until you buy, then you’re just a hassle. Disappointing, cause we had a great shopping experience.

    I would NEVER buy anything from Bob's Discount Furniture again.

    Only buy from Bobs Furniture if you only plan to use your furniture for like 6 months or a year. If you need a repair, they will send out a technician who is trained to say it’s normal wear and they will not repair it.

    Then their Customer Care Department tells you that it is their policy to follow the report of the technician and they will not send out a different technician.

    The technician that came to my house had a terrible attitude, did not have the proper tools and talked about how busy he is and that they have to hire more technicians.

    I would NEVER buy anything from Bob’s Discount Furniture again. And unless you specialize in furniture repair, you shouldn’t either.

    Worst Experience!! BEWARE!

    This company is the worst!!! Bob’s Discount Furniture on Manchester Road. BEWARE!!!. They say everything you want to hear but fall short after you pay them. It’s been 3 months since we ordered a sectional couch. We showed up on our scheduled pick up date and our full order was not available to pick up. We have been told 5 different delivery dates. We have taken off work and waited for deliveries and on each date there has been no delivery… and no call from Bob’s Discount Furniture.

    To add insult to injury, when you try and call them they keep you on hold for 2-3 hours and then they disconnect you. They have disconnected us 4 times now, which shows that this technique part of their normal operating strategy. They don’t call you back and you have to start the call process all over again. We placed an order June 1st and August 8th we still have not received our purchase.

    Today we waited on hold for 2 hours, when they answered the phone, we and got the representatives call back number in case we got disconnected. Guess what??? After talking to them a few minutes they disconnected us again!!!

    We tried calling them back and the number and extension they provided to us. That number took us to the same phone system to wait another 3 hours.

    At first, they blamed their incompetence on the Coronavirus and shipments taking longer than expected. They said it was in route and would take an additional 7 days. We found out today, three months later, that the couch had never been ordered and they were not even sure if it was going to be manufactured in the color we ordered.

    Brian Capital and Bill Barton are crooks whose only job is to make money. I have no disillusions how the position works, however there is a difference between protecting the company from frivolous lawsuits and irritating bad blogs to just setting policy so that the customer no matter how poorly treated has no recourse. They is what is being done with Bob’s Furniture.
    The way it is set up today your customers lose and the complaints will only go to a place to die. The store cannot help and sales or managers are no help. Complaint department is in Guatemala and is absolutely no help (but of course, Bill knows that). So who losses the customer in the end.

    That is ok because in the end people like me will continue to preach to the masses. I will not let the go. My closest friends already know how I was wronged, ignored and left with little recourse to me situation. My kids are all at that age where they are getting married or moving out. They have been taught how to judge a company’s structure moral compass. Now their frat buds all know the stories as well. I am not sure what marketing company you used to help you structure the delivery and service after the sale philosophy but you should fire them as well.

    Either way the education for Bill Barton was a waste because even if he was sold on an idea the sales is the only thing that matters and he was not smart enough to realize the end game would be short lived than shame on him and the folks that brought him into this world.

    Keep up the shady work Bill. Looking forward to the “going out of business sale”. It is coming and we are waiting. It is the same as the current “before the going out of business” sale but cheaper.

    PS by the time I was done with every person in your organization I told them I was sorry. Not because I had said things, I was ashamed of but because I felt bad that the company that they work for has set them up for failure and that, they were the ones stuck with all the backless. I hope that they can find a better company to employ them.

    anyone having an issue with bobs not honoring there goof proof warranty. There is now a class action lawsuit against bobs and the goof proof warranty that you can sign your name to right online
