My experience with B2 Funding was so incredibly unprofessional and outrageous that I literally do not know how they continue to stay in business.
Days before our scheduled closing they were still asking for conditions from my buyer.
Did they EVER communicate to us that there would be an issue with the close date? NO.
When both my client, the title company and I were calling them with questions as a result of their lack of action, were they anywhere to be found? NO.
When someone in the office would tell us that we would receive a call back before the end of the day, did we ever actually receive that call back? NO.
It was without a doubt a “worst nightmare” situation. After we ultimately had to postpone the closing date, there were still no answers for us and any communication was limited to excuses from them and even more conditions for my buyer.
We ended up closing with another lender in 10 business days.
It wasn’t until 23 days after our original close date and 8 days after we had already closed that we got an email from B2 Funding that they were ready to close.
Seriously? The seller’s agent put it very well when he said, “I’ll be adding B2 Funding to the list of lenders that I don’t want to touch with a 10-foot pole.”
