Assistant was so horrible

I had a fantastic doctor at Avante Medical Center LLC, but their assistant was so horrible I had to leave. She gave me terrible information on the rare occasions I actually got a call back.

She literally could not relay a message correctly.

When I called her out on it one day, she got indignant and tried to lie to cover up her stupidity.

It all went down at a very inopportune time and I finally had to pull up stakes and find another doctor.

I learned that I wasn’t the only one having issues with their staff shortly after.

Such a shame when you find a good doctor in this town but have to seek medical attention elsewhere because their front line has an incapable bonehead manning the front.

    Have seen a few folks at Avante. First time I saw Kiki and she was okay but I wasn’t satisfied with her answers to my odd blood test results. I was then referred by a friend to see Kim and she was less knowledgeable.

    Either way I ended up seeing Tina for some acupuncture and really liked her and the method. Otherwise have gone back to my regular doctor (Foland).

  2. When I spoke with the office manager, she stated she wanted to hear what her office staff had to say and then stated she would call me back.

    The provider I saw was excellent. The female receptionist who greeted me and checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The person(woman) who checked me out was AWFUL! She didn’t know what she was doing. When I inquired as to specific charges on my bill,

    she was unable to intelligibly answer my questions and was rude. I was double charged, and she failed to explain it to me. Once I got home and realized the mistake, I called for clarification. She was rude, and defensive.

    I went to Avante as another option for some health issues I’ve been battling for 10 years. The initial consult was ok. The provider (Christine Sagan) ordered some blood tests including allergy testing. She told me that someone would contact me to schedule the blood draws.

    I have one nice thing to say about this group, Nice office. I was seen by Dr. Brady who told me I had High Blood Pressure and prescribed a medicine to lower it. He told me to call if the medicine had ill affect. It dropped my blood pressure down to 76/56 which is extremely low. I called to tell Dr. Brady, he was out of town. I was offered an appointment with a nurse and because I did not take it, I was released from care.

    I was not told that I was being abandoned by Dr. Brady. It took several unreturned calls to realize that my new doctor was refusing to treat me. It cost me $400 for the office visit and over $200 in lab work. Where I come from this is malpractice. If you want to be robbed of your monies and receive no medical treatment, this is the place to go.
