Arlinton Estates

I and my fiancé were planning to leave a place elsewhere from where we lived. After getting the required approval from both the families, we started enquiring about places that could come into our comfort zones. After coming across many choices, Arlington Estates seemed nearest to our comfort zone. So we had a conversation with the owner, got into the paper work and all. We received a trailer from our family to go ahead with our choice; that is when we finalized our decision to stay at the same place. We signed the lease and had equal amount of expectations from the place to appear exactly how it seemed.

We moved in, started living got familiar with the place, about a month everything can be termed fine. As soon as we started getting more and more familiar with the place, we started to come to the darker sides of the same. There seemed to be lack of rules at this place. As if anyone could come and go anywhere any time, which we felt was awkward. There have been times when my fiancé and I noticed our neighbor’s kids playing in our yard, damaging our yard side. The dumbest reason that I have heard from them is they do not have anything to do at the park side so they entered your yard. This seemed as if we had taken responsibility to develop maintain and make sure that the park stays up to date for kids to play in the community. This was very much to get me and my fiancé pissed off.

The second worst instance was when a family member of ours passed away. At this particular instance we needed the park for one more week than what we applied for! We were also ready to pay extra for using it. We had a talk with the relevant person, he simply denied us. He gave us no reason for his denial though, telling us simply that it couldn’t happen. Our family was undergoing deep troubles at the very instance of time and we wanted a support and it wasn’t that we were being unfair to him. We were ready to pay him, whatever he asked. But shockingly he didn’t understand us. He just denied us of this privilege.

After that what happened was literally trapping us to a place where we did not intend to stay any more. Having such experiences with Arlington Estate, my fiancé and I decided to leave as soon as we can. We started searching for buyer for our place who could replace us so that we could leave. Fortunately we had a list of people who were interested in the same. We contacted the owner about it and bang! He refused for it too. This is illegal! He even literally threatened us that after our lease gets over, which was for 12 month, there would be a lease of one month each which will be renewed and regardless of whether we wished to stay or not, we would have to! ARLINGTON ESTATE IS A THREAT, DON’T CHOOSE IT WHILE YOU LOOK TO SHIFT.
