I was struggling to get my business on its feet. After a huge setback, I was trying to recover the loss instead of giving up. I had already tried a few options and was looking for some sort of useful trick that could have helped me regain my business workflow as I wanted it to be. However, with time, I was only getting disappointed by the way things were working for me. This is when my wife checked an ad about the Leadstream. The company is owned by Andrew Barry. The guy is from South Africa and moved to New York few years back. The website talked about the LinkedIn prospecting academy to help students understand how to make sales through LinkedIn connection.
I was skeptical in the beginning because I had come across such courses a lot of times and very rarely such courses helped me when I tried a few some years back. However, I did not have many options and my wife was adamant at giving it a shot. This may be because the website was well written and drafted. I also liked the way Andrew had talked about the real problem. I was expecting him to provide some concrete solution to the he had identified so well. But I was completely wrong. The entire course was nothing but a waste of money and time. He does have some free playbook for his readers. That is the first thing that I opted for.
To download the same, you need to enter your name and email address. I did that and the playbook was sent to my email address. I started reading it and found a few things interesting. However, it seemed so incomplete and the answers were supposed to be found in the training that the guy sells. This is what I was expecting. The website claimed that the course would help businesses build a sales funnel or engine for getting consistent B2B leads for years to come. It talked about helping businesses book around 10-12 B2B sales calls every month. The offer was really exciting. However, I was still skeptical to pay for the course that I was not aware of.
Moreover, the online reviews on his LinkedIn profile were great. This was a little suspicious for me too. However, I also thought what if the reviews were all genuine and the course could really help me get some hidden ideas about what I did not know by now. I had almost tried everything. So, there was a very slim chance that I would be unaware of things that the course had to offer. But, did I have a choice? Thinking that, I did enroll for the course. And, to my disappointment, it was filled with filth.
My wife and I, both started to try the things that were suggested in the course. Those did not make any sense to me. Still, we tried. There is no way we did not put our 100 percent effort to make that thing work. But it did not. We kept trying. For two months straight after the course was completed, we did everything as taught. However, the efforts were all went to the dustbin. The playbook was still better, I guess. And, that is because the guy knows that no one will turn up if he would offer junk to them.
But the course was waste. The program claims to teach you a lot of things such as customizing Andrew’s system to fit the specific business needs, or optimizing the LinkedIn profile to seem more like a sales funnel instead of looking like a resume. All these claims did ring a bell. That was the reason why my wife and I were so convinced to pay for the program. However, I know now that the course is nothing but a way to make money from you. Instead of building a lead channel for your business through this program, which it claims, you would be left wondering what went wrong.
There were so many reviews that we came across which talked about such good things about the course that we started doubting our efforts in the beginning. But the fog was clear soon. We did have a chance to talk to one of those reviewers accidentally. And, the guy had no clue what the program was. We asked few genuine questions that were very flimsy and he did not even know what the course was and when did he even review that program.
I am not sure how Andrew was able to get such reviews to his list. But this guy is not someone you should trust. We asked so many questions when accessing the program and none of those were answered. We were left on our own to understand the system and customize it. That would have been fine too if the program would have offered something. I am very much sad and disappointed after spending so much on a program that only intended to take my money and offer nothing.
Andrew Barry is a scammer. I cannot think of him as anyone else. He took away my money and did not even care to refund 50 percent of that amount when I requested for the same. For me, every penny was important as my businesses weren’t doing very great. But he did not have the empathy to understand that part. He talks about being born out of challenges. If that is so, why he could not relate to the challenges I was going through. He blamed me for not having enough skills to understand his program. This is not true. I have been in sales for more than 20 years now. My business was flourishing. It was a medical condition that ate up everything we had.
And, before I recovered, we had already lost most of our savings. The business was even compromised for the same reasons. This guy did make the situation worse. He did not help us at all but make us suffer even more. I have been trying to get my money back for three months without any luck. Do not enroll for his program, it is of no use.
