AL Financial

A-L Finance is so crooked

AL Financial review is a few years late, but I found my loan docs and finally decided to review them.

They are so crooked. They are a bunch of con artists.

A-L Finance corporate office in SoCal isn’t any better.

Their goal is to wait until your loan is almost paid off and then Try and repo your auto if you are even one day late on loan payment.

I had been laid off from my job and was one week behind in my payment, and the manager told me if I came in, there was paperwork.

I could sign to give me a 30-day extension (added to the back end of the loan). I had a friend drive me (luckily).

She called me from the A-L finance corp parking lot that a repo driver was driving around the parking lot and asked him where my car was.

They didn’t have any extension program for me to sign any paperwork. It was just a ploy to get me there to repo my car.

I was so glad I didn’t drive myself there, or I would have been without a vehicle.

I ended up getting back on my feet and paying the loan off but not with many lies from A-L finance corp.

  1. Company I bought my car from closed down

AL financial repos my vehicle with me only owing 2700 my car was paid off they add so much intrest then expect us to pay after the vehicle was sold at auction I feel I am not obligated to pay this amount and for them to go to my employers house I’m not paying for a vehicle that bought a fraudulent contracts from a faulty business autodepo that was located on Blackstone and Abby behind the dennys which is now closed down I wouldn’t tell anyone about the faulty car business this company is conducted in I hope they find the customer in favor because a lot of these businesses are ripping Americans off people in general

  2. A really bad finance services offering company

They don’t tell you that you can only request two postponements, and they must be 12 months apart.

Let them know if you have an account with them and find yourself in difficult times or need assistance.

If you have an account with A-L Financial and require assistance, they will call you to inform you that they received my October payment. They don’t tell you that you can only have two deferments.

These must be within 12 months.

However, the money order and envelope were damaged in half so they couldn’t accept them.

I spoke with the post office about the matter. They advised me that if the mail were damaged during transit, they would have stamped the item and put it in a bag before delivering it.

A-L returned it to me, and nothing had changed. A-L might have accidentally torn it, and since they cannot get paid with half of a money order, they blame me.

Instead of calling me and saying, “Hey, this happened. Can you help us get a new payment?” I had to contact Money Gram to request a replacement money order.

Money Gram has a policy requiring them to wait for the original money order to be cashed before processing the new one.

This meant I had to wait for a few days, and it was also over the Veterans Day weekend.

I call A-L to let them know my situation. They tell me that even though my payments have been on time for the three years and four months, I have had the loan, they will report any late November payments on my credit.

A good customer is one that you treat well. Okay, maybe I’m wrong.

Give your customers the option to pay online or by phone. This will avoid problems.

I cannot wait for this loan to be paid off to get on with my life.

You should consider if you can find financing through another company.

This is especially true if you have other options than in-person payments and postal mail.

I just completed a 12-hour overnight shift as a 911 dispatcher. I must be back tonight to do it again.

I will drive 80 miles to their office to pay them in cash for the problem they are likely to be the cause of (the post office didnt seal the envelope in a plactic bags or mark it as damaged in handling).

I hope I don’t crash and fall asleep while driving.

  3. Worst customer service ever!

My family and I have been trying to find out how to buy back my son’s car financed through this company. My son passed away just three short months ago, and we would like to get his car back.

My daughter spoke to Jackie, Victoria, Jim, and something called Hemelda. None of them were helpful or sympathetic in any way whatsoever! Worst customer service ever!

They were all insulting and told my daughter if my sons’ car was sent to auction, she needed to figure it out on her own.

Glad I will never have to use a finance company like this that does not give two shits about their customers or prospective customers.

Companies like A-L finance prey on people with poor credit because they have no other choice. Disgusting!

  4. Horrible and rude.

Horrible and rude. Go somewhere else ANYWHERE else. No car is worth having to deal with these people. Particularly Andrea.

  5. Very poor customer relations..

Abysmal customer relations. They lost one of my payments.

Charged me a late payment after I paid it with Western Union so it would not be late. I tried to run the lost check through after they had received the payment.

I have called for my title papers(6 weeks after the last payment). They are insulting on the phone before and after the loan was paid off.

You would think a professional company could treat you with respect and courtesy, but that is why I am writing this review. They are not professionals!
