Wichita Surgical Specialists
My Experience Was FrightfulMy General Practitioner referred me to Wichita Specialist for a routine procedure.
Although the pre-procedure visit to the office was straightforward, it wasn’t easy to weigh someone.
Then, I was given what appeared to have been a few brochures and told that I would be present at a later date to undergo the procedure.
Some areas were highlighted in the instructions, while others were scribbled.
I followed the instructions and went to my appointment only to discover that they had failed to inform me that the procedure was to be done at another location.
I could get to the second location in a hurry, but I was still on time and concerned by the events.
They asked me if the admittance paperwork had been completed. They did not give me anything that looked like admittance paperwork.
Later, I discovered that the admittance paperwork was inside one of the brochures.
After rushing to the second location, I was rushed to fill out the admittance paperwork.
However, I found other more helpful instructions and discovered other flaws in the procedure day instructions.
My anxiety grew. This was a difficult task, too, but I managed to get through it.
However, the admissions process brought up some annoying and invasive questions.
Later, another staffer explained that these questions were not necessary.
I gave in to my anxiety and called off this procedure.
After confirmation that there would be no charges for canceling the procedure, I decided.
I was assured that there would be no additional charge. Later, I received a bill for my initial office visit.
It was the office visit that caused all the chaos that followed.
After dealing with incompetent telephone staff and yet another layer of incompetent staff in the office, I finally found someone who cared that my experience was terrible.
They waived the charges. Today, the topper arrived in the mail.
They are refusing to accept me as a patient because of their incompetence.
They sent me two copies of the same letter.
They are, in a word, incompetent.
