Washington Federal is a wrong choice. They have shared private information about my loan on at least two occasions with a business associate that isn’t a borrower.
This violates their published Privacy Policy, but it also violates the Grahm, Leach, and Bliley Act.
Washington Federal Savings employees feel that following the law is an option.

Avoid this institution if you are concerned about your privacy as a customer.
They will play hardball if you try to exercise your rights. In my opinion, integrity has not been shown.
Refinance with a conventional or government loan if your mortgage financing is with Washington Federal Savings.
Washington Federal Savings will offer you better terms and protections than you get with Washington Federal Savings.
