Veritas Global Protection
Terrible Experience with Veritas Global ProtectionI had a very negative experience with Veritas Global Protection that left me angry and frustrated. On one occasion, I had an issue with my car\’s oil pump that needed to be repaired, but Veritas refused to cover the cost because it was out of warranty. I had to pay for the repairs, even though my warranty should have covered it.
Then, when I had a problem with a valve gasket leak, the certified service company told me to contact Veritas. However, when I did, they said they wouldn’t cover the repair because my car had over 100k miles. I was surprised because my coverage expiration mileage was 120k, and the expiration date was 10/23/2024.
When I asked the Veritas representative what they cover after 100k miles, she mentioned engine parts, transmission, water pump, and oil pump. However, she still refused to cover the valve gasket leak, even though she said they cover oil pumps. When I brought up the issue with my oil pump from the previous year, she said that I didn’t report it, even though the certified service company did. It was frustrating to feel like they were not taking my concerns seriously.
What\’s worse is that some customers have accused Veritas Global Protection of being thieves. According to these reports, they only pay a portion of an estimate, regardless of what is needed. In my case, they only agreed to pay for 3 out of the 8 hours of labor required to fix the issue. When I tried to speak with them about this issue, they said, \”too bad,\” and offered no further help.
It\’s clear to me that Veritas Global Protection is not a trustworthy company. They took my money and then refused to pay for their promised services. It\’s a total scam, and I would caution anyone considering their services to think twice. I would go so far as to say that no auto dealer should offer the Veritas warranty program.
