They can't service their customers

A few years back we bough a life insurance policy on my husband. Last year we did not receive a renewal statement until way after the due date. Fortunately we realized it and made the annual payment on time.

This year again they did not send us a statement. I called and they said they sent it, but after I called and 20 days after the due date, we received 4 statements in the mail. I tried to call them to complain and they ask that you leave your phone number so they can call you back in 25 minutes!

This company makes a TON of money but they can’t service their customers? Take your business elsewhere. The older you get the more expensive life insurance is so it makes it hard to change companies.

  1. Scammer

    They refused to put that in writing and refused to tell me how long my funds are being held. Furthermore, I was told that I could not transfer my funds to another company because of the legal hold.

    They were able to verify my identity and I am confused why they can put a legal hold on my funds for an unknown amount of time.

  2. The Worst Comapny

    I asked where they got this and apparently they have a contract with TransUnion credit reporting that generates the questions. I didn’t want all my financial information on the internet and did not knowingly authorize them.

    I had to call their IT for internet site and was put on hold for 30 min then transferred to customer service and given the option for a call back in 20 minutes. When I got the call back he could not help and transferred me back to IT and was put on hold for another 30 minutes.

    He told me he could not help and would get customer service on the line. I was put on hold for another 30 minutes only to be told that my account now has a legal hold and that I can’t manage my funds.

  3. Transamerica Corporation Scam.

    They falsely advertised funds that were no longer available. Then sent me an email that there was an error with my account. I had to call customer assistance and was put on hold for 30 minutes for them to give me the option for a call back in an hour and a half.

    This became a 3 hour ordeal. The woman I spoke to said the problem was resolved. I received another email 3 weeks later stating there was an error with my account and had to wait on hold for an hour for the guy to tell me the woman forgot to process the issue. During that time my account was on hold and didn’t make any money.
