Thomason Greene
Not an owner of a property up for rentI was looking for a place to rent when I came across this place. It was a really good deal, however, the person states they are in Maryland so they couldn’t give a tour of the property.
The price they were asking is way under the normal for that area. They began to be very pushy and aggressive about paying the security deposit.
They wanted the security deposit of $600 immediately without any paperwork through money gram. I have not filled out an application for the house.
They stated once they received the $600 they would send documents and house keys in the mail over night. Again, no paperwork has been done.
I told them I was not paying or signing anything until I got a tour, they then told me they just needed money to FedEx the documents and keys.
I explained it doesn’t cost $600 to mail something. Upon Googling the address I found listings of the same place on Zillow and realtor.com for a much higher price and different description.
He told me he was selling the place on
his own and does not know why that realtor still had that listing up.
