The Sunderland Group, Inc

Totally unprofessional and unbelievable

The Sunderland Group is not the right choice for you if you value your time and money. He is a lovely guy but a horrible accountant.

It’s April 4, and I have been waiting to hear from him when my small business taxes will be completed.

He then tells me in an annoyed tone that we will have to file an extended tax return (i.e., Not file your taxes on time).

He told me it was unacceptable, as I had investors who depended on him to complete our taxes on time.

To cut a long story, he got upset and refused to complete the returns he had started.

April 4, 2009. This is entirely unprofessional and absurd.

My family is in dire need of Mark Sunderland’s help. He is also my small business and my investor.

If you value your time and money, avoid this firm. Instead, find a CPA who truly cares about their clients.

They will take some responsibility for their clients’ lives.

  1. If I could give this guy a negative star I would.

I could have given this man a negative star. First, he didn’t file my taxes correctly. He replied that I had sent him too much paperwork when I inquired about it.

When I called him, he cut me off mid-conversation when I said I was unhappy. After I told them that I was not coming back, he took the time to write a letter saying that he didn’t want me as his client. I sent five pages with a signature.

If you enjoy working with high school students, this pretentious, money-grubbing “accountant” is for you. I would rather have known an H & R Block employee than this jerk.
