The Colorado Real Estate Finance Gr...
VERY BAD EXPERIENCEWhat started out as a very good experience in attempting a refinance through The Colorado Real Estate Finance Group turned out to be a very bad experience…a very very bad experience.
The president of the company, who had been highly recommended to me by a close friend, worked with me for nearly a year in processing my loan.
During that time there were two failed attempts at getting the loan approved but the staff kept at it.
Then in the past 6 weeks or so things went terribly bad.
Because of, what I think was, a personality conflict between the staff and one of my employers (I work a couple of part time jobs)
The president of the company informed me in a rather insulting email that he was closing my file.
He didn’t close it, at least he didn’t say he was closing it, because of any underwriting problems or any other financial reasons.
There may have been some of those but they were not mentioned.
His final email indicted my employer in a pointed and what I consider to be a very unprofessional way.
This is an employer for whom I have worked the past four plus years and for whom I have great respect and admiration.
I’m sure CORE will think they wasted their time on me and perhaps they did, but in the final judgment their disappointing behavior toward me in closing my file pall mall based upon emotion
What I also consider to be slanderous statements about my employer was just plain nasty.
Given the large number of mortgage lenders out there I think you can do better than this one.
As Dionne Warwick would say, “Just walk on by.”
