The cost of maintenance is SO MUCH HIGHER

Well I bought my car at Tameron Honda and the salesperson sold me a hybrid and talked to me about how much I would save in gas and in oil changes and I purchased a car out of my price range because the sales person convinced me that because of the gas savings, insurance savings and maintenance savings I would be able to afford the higher monthly car payment.

BOY WAS SHE WRONG – My car insurance went up, and the cost of maintenance is SO MUCH HIGHER.

I called today 3/26/18 and asked how much the maintenance would be for the A12 code message on my car APPROX  450 dollars REALLY  this is not cheaper and the insurance went up.

  1. Bought used car that unreported wrecked

    Bought a 2018 Rav 4 in February 2021. It was my second time buying a car from them. They told me it was certified pre-owned. I org wanted a Honda CR-V but my nephew is a mechanic and said don’t do it because there’s a problem with them and I would have to replace transmission within two years. So I researched and found a Toyota at a good price, they leave of the tax and fees, beware because it’s several more thousands. So the car fax said no wrecks, but a few weeks later when newfew looked at it there was actually packing wrappings still on serval hoses and parts replaced deep under the hood, I actually saw him pull it off, he ran a check on the bin number and sure enough it has been wrecked
    By this time I already had gotten tag, paid registration and driven it out of town. There’s no way they didn’t know because they had installed the hoses wrong which my nephew repaired, and by this time the truck began to leak through the front window Everytime it rained. I did confront them. They offered to buy it back for same price, but wouldn’t admit wrong and actually accused me of lying. Won’t go back there ever. After they get your money they don’t care!

    I will provide only the highest marks for my experience at Tameron Honda of Birmingham, AL. Ms Hughes is an exemplary salesperson. Her professionalism is matched only by her unlimited patience, extreme understanding, and high level of communication skills.

    It was nearly a ninety day process from the time I started researching the vehicle I wished to buy and yesterday’s closure of the deal. Throughout it all Ms Hughes exhibited a caring attitude and walked me through each step of the process. While I initially wanted to buy a 2019 Honda Ridgeline RT,

    it was through her explanation of trims options, and two personalized videos of accessories and vehicle options which induced my purchase of Honda’s top of the line pickup crossover, the Black Edition. I have never driven a finer vehicle, nor have I ever been so personably treated in a new car purchase. Dropping over $45,000 is not something I do every day,

    but I feel totally assured I will get my money’s worth from this vehicle. Ms Hughes is a benchmark by which Tameron should compare all their sales staff. I will not only recommend Tameron to any prospective auto purchaser, but I will suggest Ms Hughes by name as the single finest ambassador of the Honda brand.

  3. She really went above and beyond to make this transition as easy as possible for me.

    I have purchased several cars from this dealership and have never been disappointed. I recently purchased a 2019 CR-V and could not be happier with the purchase or the help I received from my salesperson, Kay G. She was so knowledgeable about the products, answered all of my questions, and made this a fun experience.

    Kay is the best and I will continue to take my business to Tameron Honda in Hoover. She even helped me with my trade-in and advised me on how best to update my tag and insurance.

    She was even nice enough to help fax my agent some info while I was there so that I could quickly stop and get my tag done on my way home. She really went above and beyond to make this transition as easy as possible for me.

  5. They over-performed, the car was ready in half the time.

    Great facility with even better service. Scheduled an appointment, was checking email in the lounge when I received a call that my Pilot was ready. They over-performed, the car was ready in half the time.

    Working with Chris Grimsley was pleasant. I don’t like haggling over price, but at the end of the day, I came away with a vehicle I’ll enjoy and Tameron made plenty!
