I was looking for insuring my house as well as auto from the same company. I was aware of the multiple policies discount and that was the reason I wanted to get my house insured from the same company that had my auto insured. I called Progressive Insurance with which my auto is insured to get the quote for both the insurances with discount.
Progressive and SageSure are partners and they are involved in all kinds of scams together. Progressive checked the entire paper and provided me a quote for both the policies and also gave me the multi-policies discount. After checking the amount, I agreed to go with them. I paid the insurance amount and thought that it was done. I got the papers from them to be signed and I did whatever they said.
After a month, I got a call from SageSure. They told me that the home insurance premium was raised from their end by $301. They also told me to pay it immediately, otherwise my house insurance would be cancelled. I wanted an explanation and they only said that it costed them extra to shift the insurance from the previous insurer.
Later, when they saw me raising questions, they asked me to provide a proof for the size of the living room and the value of the entire house. I got the entire assessment done by my builder and also consulted the city records. They overruled my data and told me that it was incorrect. They said that their inspector had a better idea of the entire house who did not even checked the house from inside. He just visited the premise from outside and they considered his remark over ours.
Nothing worked and they asked me to make the payment. They were adamant and made sure the information reaches me clearly. They kept terrorizing me for cancelling my policy with them. They practice wrong methods to take customer’s money. It is illegal and unethical.
I would like to warn everyone who has their insurance with Sagesure or Progressive. Please be alert as they can anytime take fake charges and can even blackmail you for terminating your policy. It would be better if you look for another option. There are many other insurance companies that can help you with good price and discount.
I would like SageSure and Progressive to make sure things are taken care of. I would do everything to fight this injustice. My name is Tung Le and my policy number is TXH09890400. Scam company
Sagesure delayed conveying my insurance info to my escrow account, and then penalized me by cancelling my account. Their claims department does not exist, never heard from them after filing a claim. This company should be shut down, if US had any customer protection. But we don’t.
Sneaky, Underhanded, SCAMMERS!!!
Signed with Occidential Home Insurance. Two months after my new House “Closing” my Occidential Agent sent me an email stating that my SageSure Inspection was completed with things I needed to upgrade/fix or repair within 90 days or my insurance rate would go up. {Another words a “fine”.) I’ was shocked when Occidential told me I had an inspection from a company I know nothing about. I already had my own inpection before closing. They are giving me 3 months to make repairs to things I already knew about and planned to take care of. What am I a child that needs to be told what to do & when regardless of my finances. FYI: WARNING: Check to see if Sagesure is bundled with whatever insurance you plan to go with or change to. So far I found they are bundled with GEICO, Occidential , Progressive maybe ALLState. Sagesure is Sneaky, underhanded, unfair, predator scammers. Before you sign research, investigate and ask questions; if they are bundled in your insurance, Move on: another words – “RUN” in a different direction or expect problems, headaches, stress & loss of funds. You’ve been WARNED!!!
FURIOUS!!
I haven’t had to file a claim, just got the house a month ago; however, COMPLETELY FURIOUS about the restricted dog breed policy on their terms. That is 100% HORSE POOP! No, no no! Will be looking at another policy! Companies like this need to be held accountable in part for the problem of those breeds being in shelters. I don’t have any dog on the list, BUT I WILL NOT own a home and be told what animals I can have! BEWARE!!!!!!!

Extremely Unethical
If you are looking for Homowners coverage, dont, I repeat, Don’t go with this company. They have so many embedded exclusions hidden in there policies, that you will never get coverage if you have a legitimate claim. Extremely Unethical..
Not to mention the initial process to attain insurance. It was a nightmare. Sign up was simple. Collecting my money, a year in advance, was easy. Then for three months they continued to fabricate reasons why they had to cancel my policy. Each and everyone squashed and proven false. Through this process I cought them altering my contract and removing the ordinance and law coverage. After addressing this and forcing them to place it back on my policy, then they proceeded to try to Bill me an extra $150. Having paid for the policy a year in advance that included the ordinance in law, I refuse to pay the additional charge and now they’re trying to cancel my policy yet again.. I highly suggest anyone shopping for Homeowners insurance, keep looking. These people belong in a Las Vegas Casino. Nothing but Sharks….

After no call back for another week, we finally spoke to our Allstate agent who was responsible for intoducing us to this sorry company, she took our information and stated that she was going to handle the situation. After more time passing, all she could tell us was that the original Sagesure agents we spoke to was no longer with the company – What?!! So after more failed attempts to speak to a human being (loosely termed) we tried registering online to follow up on our claim, gave all pertinent information but to no avail – was not even processing the information. What’s surprising is that when I went through the online payment option and again gave the same pertinent information (actually they needed less information to receive their payment) lo and behold it processed in 2 seconds ready to take any extra money from me! Wow!!! Pretty obvious what takes precedence in this company. I give it one star because you can’t write a review unless you give it a star but if I could I would give it a minus 10. Of all the insurances companies around they must be the worst. All they are interested in is getting your money and then for no legitimate reason they drop you . They are not interested in hearing anything . I took out a policy after they quoted me a price through Geico Then they told me my roof had a few lifting shingles and was uneven I said okay and and had several roofer look and told me nothing is wrong I told them i was getting someone to go on the roof and check they gave three weeks to repair the roof. I kept on telling them no one found anything to fix they did not care I live in New York it is raining all the time I finally got someone to go up and paid good money and I sent them loads of pictures and the receipt they had already cancelled policy after 3 weeks. They lie and told me I was covered for another month if I send them a roof condition form filled out by roofer, I got the form filled out emailed them yesterday I got a check from them in the mail. Geico should be ashamed using these crooks. Each person tells you a different story. I hope they recorded my conversations because .I will take action. Because now I have to hurry to find new insurance and pay more no time to shop around. . Do they care no so they cancelled my policy after I paid in full. Be careful don’t use them for any type of insurance. It is funny That so many people same exact experience.
