Portland’s Alternative Realtors

She Was Dismissive And Outright Rude

We did not go with Portland Alternative Realtors after a terrible consultation meeting with Amy.

She was dismissive and outright rude; told us that we could not afford to live in Portland with our budget.

We were mortified and disgusted by her attitude toward us, especially given the glowing reviews here (not only for PAR but for Amy in particular).

Maybe she was having a bad day but it’s, no excuse for how we were treated.

Happy to say that I will CONTINUE to live in Portland in a home that I’m currently closing on. Good riddance.

Leia took the time to respond to this review but it should be noted that none of what she described actually took place.

It sounds very pleasant though and Amy should be grateful for people willing to make excuses for her behavior.

We worked with Living Room Realty on SE Clinton/28th and our broker went out of her way to prove that we had the means to live here.

  1. I definitely recommend Paul and PAR!

Paul at PAR was spectacular at providing advice, prepping our house and marketing it to sell. First off, we were selling our property from Baltimore, MD and second, it was previously a rental.

Paul helped create a list of fixes need to get ready and meet with contractors to assure the house was in top shape before listing. Paul helped stage our place and within 2 days we had multiple offers above asking price. The house closed in 30 days and all this happened while we were 3000 miles away. I definitely recommend Paul and PAR!

  3. I was fortunate enough to have Colleen as my realtor while purchasing my first home.

I was fortunate enough to have Colleen as my realtor while purchasing my first home. It is a surprisingly overwhelming experience and Colleen walked me through the entire process. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated, and I felt at ease knowing I had her to advocate for me.

She showed me things to look for when buying a home that I wouldn’t have even considered, was very communicative and accessible, and she dedicated a lot of her time to help me find my perfect home.

I genuinely felt like she had my back through the entire process. Purchasing a home is such a huge life decision and I am so grateful that I had Colleen representing me!
