  1. High savings interest but terrible mistake.

Although I read some negative reviews, I decided to purchase all the concerns—terrible mistake.
Although the approval of the savings account was smooth, frustration grew.
    1. Despite the approval of the account, I was unable to transfer any money into it for five business days. You must understand that I was trying to transfer the funds into history, not take it out.
    2. Once I could transfer money in, it had to be done in increments of $75k per day.
    3. Maximum amount that can be transferred in 30 days is $250k. I would like to deposit $375k.

As you can see, PNC seems to do everything in its power to prevent me from doing business. They refused to let me deposit my $375k with their bank. By the by, I spoke with many people at the bank, including the management.

If you decide to join them, keep your monthly expenses under $75,000. Don’t expect PNC to make it simple.

You’ll be happy to know that I could move my money to another bank precisely the way I wanted it to without any problems. It was a slightly lower rate, but I don’t know what other issues could have arisen if the money was not deposited in PNC.

  2. I am shocked at the number of equipment issues in a first tier bank.

To close my account, I went to the 11 Penn Plaza branch. Yesterday, I went to the 11 Penn Plaza branch to close an account. The front desk clerk was a trainee.
Today’s message said that the fax machine was down, and she couldn’t forward the necessary papers to comply. Ugh! Her telephone number was not working, so I had to guess from the voice mail what the number was.

  3. When I called they said that I am not eligible.

I won’t lie. I signed up for this bank because they offered great deals—$ 150 for opening a new bank account. But I have been with them for two years and never received any money. They said I was not eligible when I called.
