Pet Owners Critical Warning
All pet owners, be on high alert for this Singapore based company running their app all over the world. This company is pure evil and shady as hell. And there are lots of bad pet sitters on the platform. Some have mental illness and will try to abuse and kill your pets!
PetBacker made false advertisement that they will hold pet sitter fees and not release them till everything is ok. They also ensured pet owners of protection because they have insurance coverage. All these are just enticement than fulfillment to get you to sign on and use their service.
When bad things happen caused by sitters on their platform, they will not give the pet sitter fees you paid back and will lie at any despicable degree to cover up for the sitter and remove any negative but truthful reviews (so don’t be misled when you see a sitter with all good reviews). If you send them any vet records, they will make up reasons why it won’t get paid by insurance (usually it is right the problem you are reporting). They likely uses your report to get the money for themselves, or they don’t have insurance at all to begin with.
You would know they are a joke when there is no phone number to call except messages. Even emergency request can taken them a day or two to respond and 3 days if it is weekend. This already tells you something that the company is not professional nor stable.
They have people on Facebook who seems are users of the app to recommend them. Some of these recommenders are not real people but their own setups. So don’t trust the so called “word of mouth”.
PetBacker is shady as hell with suspected fraud crimes and absolute false advertisement. Make sure you share this around so more pet owners will know what they are not what they say are.
With large number of toxic and malicious pet sitters on the platform, your pets might not be safe. And better be safe than sorry.
Abusive pet sitter at Petbacker app
Dear all animal lovers, I have encountered an abusive pet sitter in Puchong, Malaysia. Her name is Vicki Mah and currently, she is doing pet boarding and pet sitting for customers’ dog. Her own mongrel dog name Bzai died under her care as well. She threw the large dog at a shelter and left to die there.
In November, I have witnessed Vicki Mah abusing a few of the customer dogs at Parkvilla Puchong Townhouse and also let all of the customer dogs to poop and pee at the playground area at Parkvilla.
Even after I lodged a complaint to Petbacker of this pet sitter. They are not able to do anything. Is there any global NGO or Lawyer Activist who can help me as I have strong proof that she has hit the golden retriever, name Duffy boy which belongs to a customer called Ms June.
Me and my neighbours have lodged the report to DVS and SPCA about this crazy lady and irresponsible pet sitter at Puchong and PetBacker is still unable to help me to stop her for hurting customers dog. She has abit of psycho mental issues as well. Hence I would like know anyone can help us on this? It is really disturbing to watch her hit customer dogs and knowing dogs arent able to voice out.
