As a first time homebuyerParamount Residential Mortgage Group – PRMG definitely helped me get into my first home and make it a place for my family to make memories.

Now that I’ve owned my house for a few years, they are literally the worst company to deal with.

Tried to refinance and I told them my situation before hand and they said oh the manager gave permission to do this.

That so I can make it work and guess what… $800 later they tell me oh never mind we can’t do it with that information.

Then none of their bankers are on the same level and I will call and ask about my payment for one thing since I just got an increase

I will get a different answer if I call back an hour later and talk to a different representative.

Clueless, money hungry company

  1. Terrible Escrow account management

    PRMG, in their infinite wisdom, decided to pull money from our escrow account to pay for an insurance policy that, 1) is not the same insurance company we use and 2) is not a policy that is even under our name. They literally paid for someone else’s insurance policy with our money. We identified this issue in less than 20 minutes, however, after calling them over the course of 2 days and explaining the issue to them, they are still going to take about 20 DAYS to do their little investigation and “cut us a check” once they determine their mistake. You might have better luck having someone else manage your money; like a distant relative that you knew when you were 5 but don’t speak to anymore, or a stranger on the street.

    I have bought and sold a home and Never had to go through what I was put through here! Multiple requests for the same things back to back. Request for a divorce decree from 32 years ago… WHY? Request for information from. My mothers home… WHY? BOGUS background checks of my background. I will NEVER recommend these people to ANYONE , if you see that that’s who you have to use Request another company immediately. I have no clue who the underwriter is but whoever they are even worse.
