Worst Finance CompanyWorst finance company I have ever had. Pan American Bank have continued to charge me for a year after my loan is up.
I called to request a copy of the original purchase contract and a copy of my account history (none of this is available online because they are sooo far behind in technology that it is scary).
Instead of being told this would be no problem, I am told that since I was given one when I took out the loan (4 years ago), they didn’t feel they needed to give me one now.
Even though I told them I was out of town for several weeks on business, they said I would have to come to one of their branches and I would have to pay them to get it.
This flies in the face of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
The FDCP act guarantees the right to receive validation of a debt.
It clearly puts the onus on the company to validate the debt and it is a clear violation to make me pay to prove that they are ripping me off.
The “supervisor” Omar apparently does not have the authority to make decisions over $2.00 which just tells me all I need to know about your bank.
