Modern Contempo

My company purchased over $2,000 in furniture during two trips. I had a whole house to fill but the experience was so bad, I changed my plan and bought everything else I needed from Craigslist (FYI: Cheaper and same quality). The first shipment of furniture I purchase was a disastrous experience. The movers, one of the head guys that works there, showed up with two broken legs of our couch. Two chairs were delivered without any coverings and they were dirt stained and ruined. It looked like they were put upside down on the dirty moving truck floor. Even though they do not allow returns, I demanded they take the chairs back and exchange them for something else. Next, the Queen headboard I purchased was switched and arrived as a full sized headboard. It also was delivered without any legs or bolts so we are not able to set it up properly. I discussed the issue with the mover in person, called by phone, and made an extra visit to the store but when I arrived at the store the bolts I was promised and the mechanism to set up the headboard did not exist. In fact, they gave me directions for a different piece of furniture I did not even buy. Despite a verbal promise to make the switch happen on the Queen size headboard, Shar, the manager only delivered an empty promise. I feel ripped off for buying a Queen sized headboard and getting a Full Sized headboard. Overall, purchasing furniture there was a highly disappointing and stressful experience considering how much money and time I spent trying to rectify the many problems I had. Maybe buy one piece and pick it up yourself but management of the store is so disorganized you are best cherry picking one of the best things you like and relying on a different store or system somewhere else to avoid the head ache I had.
