MetLife Home Loans

Terrible Company

This is a horrible company. MetLife Home Loans had my auto and home for six years.

When I wanted to cancel the rate for a better rate, on 10/5, I called over and over to get $1660.00 back.

This was urgently needed because my new policy required that amount.

I was informed that there was a system error and that the payment had not been released by 11/7.

It was to be sent to the “help desk” to resolve. I requested to be called on 11/10 to find out where my payment was.

But, nothing.

I was contacted again on 11/15 and informed that the homeowner’s policy hadn’t been canceled yet.

WHAT???? I demanded that the payment be made immediately.

I was informed that it would take about five business days to receive it and get it by a “beautiful day.”

I was curious if the disgust I had with the representative was recorded. I’m sure it wasn’t.

MetLife is shameful for taking a paying client to this level.

It was terrible of them to hold my money, even though I paid on time.

Shame on them for having me repeatedly call them to inquire about my owed money.
