Mercedes-Benz of Seattle

Not a nice touch, and not professional

From the moment I walked in, I wasn’t approached by anyone until I went to the front desk. When I finally met the salesperson with whom I’d made an appointment (Eli), his sleazy approach made me feel like I’d walked into used car lot in the middle of nowhere. Without learning anything about what I was looking for, he went on a rant about “Time to ditch your Audi and upgrade to a Mercedes, right?!

Let’s make a deal tonight!” all whilst ignoring the fact that I had decided to look at new leases rather than buying pre-owned. In any case, the C300 I drove had curbed wheels, an interior that rattled over every bump, and an odd smell. You wouldn’t find that sort of poor quality at the other dealerships in the area.

Then Eli came back with the numbers, something like $8,000 down when I’d explained I wasn’t looking to put down much. In his defense, I will fully admit that I was coming in with a high amount of negative equity on my current car, but another dealership was able to make it work without a hiccup (I’ll get into my awesome experience at MB of Lynnwood in a moment).

In any case, I walked out and Eli persisted to text me throughout the following days with bogus claims about how their “free car washes” constituted paying $6,000 more for the exact same car. Furthermore, I’d worked with the other dealerships via email before visiting (to get a ballpark of whether it’s worth coming in) but Eli wouldn’t give me a single number, despite my already having been in! Clearly I was a serious buyer, but apparently he wanted to turn this into a multi-trip experience. When he began to run out of strategies, he resorted to bashing the other local dealerships such as MB of Bellevue. Not a nice touch, and not professional.

When I explained all of this in reply to the canned follow-up email I received from their Sales Manager, I was completely ignored. In the end I’m glad I was, because I visited Mercedes-Benz of Lynnwood and had an incredible experience with their salesperson Kevin Lee.

They not only offered me thousands more on my trade, but minimized my down-payment and kept my monthly payments where I needed. All of this on a brand new, fully-loaded 2018 GLA lease with substantial annual mileage allowance. For context, the GLA was the car I repeatedly said I wanted, but Eli ignored me whilst trying to push me into a C300 loaner car instead.

Eli made it sound like my requirements were impossible to meet, but apparently not! Absolutely loving my new car, and will never be going back to Mercedes-Benz of Seattle again. If you’re thinking of a new Mercedes, make the trip to Lynnwood! You will not regret it.

  1. I highly recommend working with John when buying your next Benz!

Car buying is a scary thing when you’re out of your element. With that being said, I’ve had a few interactions with John Creseto and he has gone out of his way to make me comfortable, make sure i’m hydrated, and offer me all details on different models that I was interested in. I highly recommend working with John when buying your next Benz!

  2. His knowledge and love for Mercedes made the buying experience really enjoyable.

Went in looking for a great year end deal and spoke Bradley Brys, top notch service and care. Bradley took care of us, made sure we loved everything and we left with a beautiful new Mercedes. His knowledge and love for Mercedes made the buying experience really enjoyable.

  3. Never Again

Only to be told that the 5 year warranty is past its warranty which any buffoon can tell. I was told that I had to call Mercedes Benz. I was dumbfounded as I was in the Mercedes Benz dealership. But they said I had to call corporate to request a claim. So I did and literally have to wait another 24 hours to hear back.

  4. I have no answer for you right now

My dashboard navigation screen started malfunctioning so I brought it in to be Checked in service yesterday Friday. I was assigned to a woman named Liz Davis in the service department. I have a business to run so I was told to leave my car there and I would be shuttled into work and they did.

I waited ALL day for a phone call, text or email by Mercedes. Not one word so I closed my shop and texted Liz Davis to request to be picked up. Liz Davis responded me back with, “I’m sorry but we’re closed now and have no shuttles to pick you up”. I then asked for the status on my car and her answer was, ” I have no answer for you right now “.

Liz Davis then admits to me via text that she forgot about me and finally sends someone over to pick me up. A nice lady greets me with my car key as I arrive but knows nothing about the status of my car either. First thing I noticed upon getting in my vehicle is that there’s tools in my passenger side and side panel is open exposing electrical circuits as if my car was in the middle of being worked on.

  5. all dealerships that we get glass from if we have a no show customer we have always been able to return with a fee for a return.

we recently bought a 1290.00 windshield, we waited until the vehicles customer made apt 3 weeks later we opened the box it was brocken Mercedes refused to take it back they said they checked before delivering really the box was taped up, and the dust on the box was thick. this glass is for a 2010 s550 with all the options not a common car at all . that glass had been at there shop for a while. oh did I mention we bought the same glass for the same person 3 months earlier it stressed cracked in the car so we had to buy again so all I n all we bought this glass 3 times. they did not offer a discount .

all dealerships that we get glass from if we have a no show customer we have always been able to return with a fee for a return. Mercedes just let us hang so we called Mercedes of Bellevue. they said there is no limit on returns and if the glass was brocken in the box they would return at full credit. so novusglass and all the speedyglass shops will never use Mercedes of seattle ever again 9 stores total.

  6. Bad Service

is it really possible for a car dealership not to “find” the key to a car they are selling? i made an appointment to see a car on and they can not find the key, appontment was reset. on march , the car was sold.

  7. The rep I worked with in the service department was horribly condescending.

The rep I worked with in the service department was horribly condescending. I was lectured on being patient and improving my listening skills. When I asked a question about the repair the person said perhaps you didn’t hear what I said and proceeded to repeat himself more slowly.

Additionally, I was over charged for labor, I was notified of this by an internal employee. The only bright side of coming here was the shuttle driver, Charles. He was very friendly, on time and the only positive part of my experience. As a woman I’ve come to expect lackluster service from this dealership and will not return.

  8. Terrible repair service

Terrible repair service, if you were not satisfied, they tell you go somewhere else!!!

  9. They work hard to avoid upholding their end of the bargain.

Wish I could give an negative review. I am speaking to the service department of Mercedes Benz Seattle. I am in the middle of the worst service experience of my life. I dropped off my car for a Nox sensor replacement as my check engine light came on. My original appointment was on the 26th but they moved the appointment to Friday December 28th because a recall part was not in.

On that Friday I dropped off my car at 8:00. At 11:00 I got a call that the cost of the sensors was 2,000. But I had reviewed my warranty information and it clearly stated that Nox sensor was covered in the California Emission warranty which Washington state participates in. So I wanted clarity.

I called back at 11:30 to ask. My service manager was not available left a message with the receptionist. I called back at 12:30, I called back at 1:30, I called back at 2:30, I called back 3:30 and finally got Patrick on the phone. I explained the list that I was looking at and he could pull up the same thing on his computer. He then said that he had to check with his manager.

  10. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR YOU WILL GET INTO PROBLEMS.

My certified SUV brakes failed within 2 months. They give me a loaner car that got a flat tire just next days after we got it.

I called roadside assistance and the service manager Ed Wagor wants me to pay for the tire get fixed. TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR YOU WILL GET INTO PROBLEMS.

  12. After I checked lots of vehicles with different brands

After I checked lots of vehicles with different brands, I was definitely very confused until I met Eli and his outstanding Mercedes Benz knowledge convinced me to choose this brand, I love my E-Class and I’m pretty sure that nothing is even close to what I have in other brands, new E300 is one of a kind.
