The Worst Experience

I will never again use LoanStar Home Lending. I bought my first house and wished I had gone to someone else. It wasn’t enjoyable.

My closing date was changed three times. Finally, they gave me a date and time.

I got to the escrow office, but the paperwork was still incomplete.

My loan officer arrived late because I knew I had to be at work, so I set it up for a specific time.

This delayed buyers and sellers even more.

It’s not clear if it was my loan officer or someone else.

I was told my down payment would amount to X, but I was informed otherwise just days before closing.

I repeatedly asked the cashiers what exact amount I needed. They kept saying, “I’m away from my desk.” Then she never got back.

I brought a check to show that I was serious. No one answered my questions.

After renting the house for several years, we bought our home. We are familiar with the sellers.

They couldn’t believe it either. They said that typically, you receive a gift from the lender.

This was exactly what they did.

A Uhaul gift card. They all knew that we didn’t need to move since we had lived there for a while.

They wouldn’t give any other gift, to be honest.

This company does not build relationships with clients.

Save yourself the trouble of going to another place.

    You are great at selling yourself and promising the world. All documents were received. Anya, the loan specialist, and her colleagues informed me that all submitted papers were underwritten. It’s been a week. I asked several times if there was anything else. There is nothing else at the moment. I will be asked for additional documents on the closing day.
    Are you confused? No problem. Here are the additional documents. We will need to review it for 24 hours before closing the case. FML is at this point. What are the sellers going to do now? They didn’t give up. They continue to work on the loan, taking their time. Every time I call them, they are in a meeting of some kind.

    Its closing date is essential. Do you not all care about closings? At this point, I don’t know what exact amount I should bring to a close. They finally called me at 4:30 PM to tell me that you were ready for closing. Here is what you need to get to finish.

    LMFAO. It took over 20 days for this loan to be fully funded. They want me to run around the city like a chicken and make it to the title company in 30 minutes.
