LoanSnap, Inc.

Highly Unethical

LoanSnap, Inc. utilizes “Neighbor Spoofing” methods to trick potential customers into answering their calls. They received my # from LendingTree.

Case in point:
I have a Baltimore, MD are code RESERVED for cellphones. (I got the # in 2004).

I moved to California in 2010. DLJ FInancial is based in Southern California.

Any company that is willing to spoof/change their phone number, and furthermore do it to convince busy prospective customers that a “local neighbor/business” is calling them IS UNETHICAL.

If on first contact they are willing to lie and deceit, imagine what the mortgage/equity/HELOC process will be like?

By voluntarily and knowingly making it look like the phone# they call from is local to you — you un-earned my business from the get-go.

  1. Took loan docs via notary then nothing. Lost paperwork?

Went to them for refi. They apparently lost my paperwork. Now someone contacted me and my non involved sister asking to buy my house.

  2. the worst place to refinance you home!!!

the worst place to refinance you home!!! very green employees and the get an f on customer service.. this is a very stressful process and the employees made it 10x more for me i was promise a 3 week time frame it took 90 days to close.. so if you see this name loansnap run for the hills run very fast .

  3. Bad Service

I’ll just remove my bad review since there might be a solution

  4. Its a scam.

I used DLJ simultaneously to refi an income property (my partner found DLJ). Generally, everything was okay but it was still a bait and switch, where DLJ said they can get a loan at 0 cost at X rate. When it came to sign, they gave us a loan with X+.25 and closing at 1000. It was acceptable

For my loan, under HARP 2, Chris Cole promised to lock the rate at Z and no closing cost. The first set of papers then sent to me had errors on every page, including my address, my name, forgetting to “x” the locked rate, etc. That should have been the red flag. Second, after submitting the papers back to Cole, they sat on my file, literally.

While I asked them for updates, QuickenLoan, the lender they were working with, sent me papers with the correct info (name, address, rates, etc) and a DEADLINE, of which passed! Later, about one and half month later, Cole came back with a loan set at Z +.75 rate and a closing of $2500.

And he stated he was doing me a favor at this rate! When asked why he did not lock the rate, as he promised, he said he did not like how the rates looked at the time, with some other blah which did make sense. (All of this info is supported by documents and emails)

  5. A completed disregard for the customer.

I worked with Aden Soloman from loan company DLJ Financial who requested documents throughout a number of weeks in which I supplied in a timely manner. After a few weeks of telephone calls, letters, faxing and emailing requested financial documents,

I received an email from Aden stating her company can not assist me with any loan due to a time lapse regarding my tax extension. There was no mention of this for 3 wks and no indication that a time line for a tax extension was a factor. I was completely blindsided by this news as I have been working very closely with Aden who assured me my loan was going smoothly.

Aden who I have spoken to regularly for weeks did not even bother to call me, instead , sent a cold and disingenuous statement regarding my tax extension. I would not recommend this company as I was mislead and even lied to in the process. Terrible communication and customer service. A completed disregard for the customer.
