I moved here from California and was comparing quotes from different insurance company. Jen Sias-Lyke’s office was also one of them. I sent them emails and messages. Even, left various voicemails to get a quote. But, they did not reply on time. I waited for few days and then made up my mind to go with another insurance chosen from among the quotes I got from different companies.
After, 10 days, I received a call from Jen SIas-Lyke’s office, from a girl named Carla. Although, I told her that I had already decided about the insurance policy I was going to buy, she kept on repeating about the great quote and service their company offered. So, I thought of getting the quote from them too. I asked her to send the quote on my email address.
I received the quote right after I disconnected the phone with her. The quote was not at all competitive and on the other hand, was expensive from the one I had chosen. She called me back after an hour and I told her that “I was not interested”. She tried to convince me further. But, the way they had handled it, I was sceptical about their services. So, I completely denied. At which, she confirmed that she would not be calling again.
However, their calls and voicemails never stopped. Here, we are many weeks away from the incident and I am still getting calls and voicemails, at least 2-3 times a week. Sometimes, they would call twice in a day. The calls would be from different girls from the same office. I know this, because at first, I answered them all. Slowly, I started researching for every number that was unknown.
They used the same lines while leaving the message on the voicemail and it sounded as if we were best friends. Anyone could fall for it. It was deceptive, and they should be charged for doing such kind of marketing stunts with the customers.
I feel Jen does not have the right attitude for getting customers onboard. She does not know what training she needed to provide to her employees. All of them were pushy and only wanted to sell their insurance policy. There was no ethics showed for making the customer feel comfortable while buying the insurance.
I would suggest staying away from these purely marketing goons who do nothing, but will make you sign up for some expensive and unnecessary insurance terms. I could not understand, why they never pulled my number and marked it to the ‘not interested’ list. It would have saved me as well as them from a lot of trouble. I might not have ended writing this review for them, if they had chosen to close it the silent way.
If they do not stop, I am going to complain about them soon.
