Jasmine and her team were the reason I initially went with Jasmine.

I was warned not to use the major banks, and I liked the idea of working alongside someone local.

This was a terrible mistake. This “team” was incompetent while I was working on my mortgage. It is unacceptable.

Everything went smoothly, I was preapproved, had all the documents I needed, and was ready for closing.

My only complaint was that they demanded that I explain the difference between a calendar year and a fiscal year.

This could be due to the team’s lack of intelligence.

My scheduled closing was less than 24 hours away when the real horror story began.

The lady who deals directly with the underwriter called me.

In a rude manner, she began the call by saying “it’s your favorite… sorry, I have to move your closing, because we need more documentation.”

It’s hard to believe that she would wait to tell me this, even though I was the one who followed up after I received my CD.

She doesn’t know how to do her job or how to talk to customers to give bad news.

I gave her the documents requested within one hour and she didn’t respond until after 5pm. She said that she would still need to delay closing.

She asked that my agent request unilateral extensions – which she did.

Jasmine and her Team were contacted by the seller’s agent to find out more about what was going on.

The company claimed that the delay was due to me not receiving requested documents, which renders me unable to obtain a unilateral extension.

Jasmine and her colleagues blamed me for my mistakes.

To get over the errors and avoid delaying closing, I offered to make a larger downpayment to ensure that this does not happen.

They said it wasn’t necessary and that it would only take 2 days before closing. They proved to be incompetent.

I spent the whole day waiting for the rescheduled closing, filling out more paperwork, and discussing other options over the phone.

Finally, I was informed that the original terms were not going to be honored and that I would need to raise another 50k in order to make it happen.

This was the point when I was beyond upset. It was almost comical to see how insane this team was.

They said that they wouldn’t need it.

It was, apparently, necessary. It was a blessing that I was able to gather these funds in 24 hours.

Jasmine and her team lied to the sellers about my delay, which would have cost me my earnest money if I had not.

If this team had done their job correctly, all these stress-related errors could have been avoided.

They waited until the very last moment to accomplish everything.

You don’t need to stress about your mortgage process if you are looking for a fun and easy way to do it.

It is scary that this operation has been licensed because it is clear that they don’t know what they are doing.
