J Nanni Income Tax Service

This Place Is Very Unprofessional, Inconsiderate & Rude!

My coworker suggested J Nanni Income Tax Services to me as a possible tax professional.

They were recommended to me by a friend. I regret it! The place was vulgar, unprofessional, and inconsiderate.

I arrived at 830 am on Saturday, February 8, 2014.

Due to the number of people who go in on weekends, my coworker advised me to be there early.

They don’t make appointments. When I arrived, there were already many people waiting.

I believed I was number 25 on the list. So I thought, “How long can it take?” The young man called me at the front desk within 30 minutes.

He gave me a quick questionnaire that I had to answer.

After waiting for about an hour, I asked him how long he would take to answer my question.

He replied that it was about an hour.

So I decided to wait. I was able to wait for 2 hours, instead of the 1 hour.

Believe me when you say that I thought about leaving many times but decided to stay because I had waited so long.

BIG MISTAKE It took me 4 hours to get there from the moment I arrived until I was called.

They call you from the lobby and take you to a second waiting room.

Continue to wait until a tax representative pulls you aside to help you finally complete your taxes.

The wait time in the room was between 30-45 minutes, and I was there for about 30 to 45 minutes.

I was not even introduced to the woman who brought me into her office before she began my taxes.

She asked my son for his SSN just as she finished my file.

I have to admit that I forgot my son’s SS Card because this was my first tax appointment with a new person.

She assured me it was not a problem, as I could email (preferably fax) the pending information.

I accepted, and she asked me to wait in the lobby while she completed my packet and made copies.

I went into the main lobby and waited for about 15 minutes before someone came to me with a copy of my taxes.

At this point, I was also charged.

The information was faxed to me the following Monday. I received confirmation by fax.

I called them the next day to confirm that they had received my fax.

I call and am placed on hold for 15-20 minutes. I hang up and call back. This time they ask why I called.

They put me back on hold while they purportedly check my health.

The young man at the desk answered initially, but it was a woman who took me off hold.

You don’t even know why I’m on hold for fifteen minutes. She wants to know WHY I am holding.

She doesn’t apologize, but she promises she will take a look.

She returns 5 minutes later to tell me they have not received it and if I can mail it again.

So I am sending it again. I follow up with a call right away.

I am again placed on hold for more than 10 minutes.

The woman (they never revealed her name!) confirmed that they received the information.

They ensure that they have received the data and will immediately begin to work on it.

I called to confirm that they had completed my taxes two days later.

It is unnecessary to inform you that the hold time was unbelievable.

They told me that they had a pile of unprocessed packets.

He couldn’t confirm mine but would place a bet that it was.

He promised me that they’d be there until midnight to work on them and that it would be done that night. WRONG!! OK, I thought…

Two weeks later, at almost 9 pm on Sunday, I received a message from their office stating that they are still waiting for the SSN! (Yes, I realize my caps sound. I’m yelling.

They have not been processed! That’s why I am! It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

The young man at the front desk was rude, inconsiderate, and insensitive.

He may have read through many faxes and couldn’t find any information from me.

I explained that I had confirmed receipt with a woman in their offices.

He replied, “Well, it’s not there. I don’t know what to do.

“I’m just a lower-level employee.” He’s constantly clearing his throat and smacking his lips.

He was not sorry to me for the fact that 1) I waited over 4 hours 2 weeks ago. 2) I paid for this already, and 3) It’s been two weeks since I was there.

He put me on hold, and a woman replied, confirming that he couldn’t do anything and gave me the information.

She said that new customers should be prepared for this scenario.

SMH She also asked me my AGI at this point. Aren’t those on my W2s? They are just trying to play with me.

After I gave her all the information, I was done. Wow! They were so quick to get the money!

This place is very popular with tax-refund seekers who want to make the most of their refunds.

This business lacks professionalism and good service. I will never return!

  2. No thank you. I'd rather pay someone instead of using this certificate.

I am returning the certificate I received back from you. Your son was very professional, and I don’t want my taxes prepared by your office. Your son was so unprofessional that I felt like I was speaking to a high school student about how to communicate with potential clients.
