Houston Metropolitan Federal Credit...

Could Not Process The Loans

Applied for “their Holiday Loan”, Houston Metropolitan Federal Credit Union could not process the loans nor handle the volume of requests they receive, nor return quick decisions.

It was difficult to get to the loan department (either one was put on an extensive hold or was transferred over to voicemail) and if for some odd chance (and I’m talking like one would have to have won the Lottery to have one of them picked up the phone) one did get to speak to anyone in the loan department to inquire/ask for information regarding the loan application/process (liken to pulling teeth from the employees themselves).

They were not friendly, personable and sometime down right “nice-nasty”.

  2. I have never banked with a credit union where I had an issue getting a live representative on the line.

I’ve been calling both locations since 10am this morning. It is now 3:05pm and I cant get anyone on the phone. I sit on the phone for 15 plus minutes just to get an recording that states I am the first caller in the the que and then it just hangs up. This is absolutely ridiculous! I have never banked with a credit union where I had an issue getting a live representative on the line.
