  1. Totally Mislead

Credit Union member first of all, I applied for an auto loan which I got and good terms. I found the vehicle I wanted which was much less then what I was approved for. The dealer and I did all the paperwork, got it submitted to Golden 1. Everything was approved and all I had to do was get the vehicle insured and deliver that to Golden 1 and pick the check up. So, I visited Golden 1 Branch and submitted the information and was told I could pick the check up the next day. On my way home I get a call from Golden 1 stating they couldn’t write the check for the amount that was submitted but could write it for about $5,000 less. Now, the way I look at it, everything that was requested to do was done. The deal was finalized with the dealer and I took delivery of vehicle. Then Golden 1 back’s out of that agreement with no prior warning or telling me that I couldn’t get the amount requested to purchase auto but I would get the check for about $5,000 less. So, now I am stuck with this car trying to find a way to pay for it. Golden 1 not only lied and mislead me all the way to the end and then denied it. Golden 1 now has put me in a financial wreck ruining my credit and a possible law suit with the dealer. Great job Golden 1. I’m so happy I belong to your credit union.

  2. So I just closed my account with golden 1

So I just closed my account with golden 1, because the teller though I looked suspect and that she would have to put a hold on my check??? I guess that is how you say thank you for your service to a veteran.

  3. Too bad there isn't a 0! HORRIBLE bank for an auto loan.

Too bad there isn’t a 0! HORRIBLE bank for an auto loan. No ability to pay online “unless you have a golden one account”. I’d bury my money in the back yard before i got an account with these jokers. Pay by phone system? what a joke, even after their supposed “update”. How about you stop spending money on arenas and bring you business into the 21st century.

  4. Deposited cash into ATM.

Deposited cash into ATM. ATM machine stated it could not deposit or return funds. Machine then issues a small receipt stating funds unable to be returned, nothing else. Went to my account balance to be sure it did not deposit and to get receipts from all accounts also retrieve atm number.
Had to wait until they opened the following day to file a claim.

That was a week ago, still no deposit. Very hard to get through the phone tree on the 800 number, when you do they have a very, “not concerned as it will all work out”, attitude. While I hope this is true, but as of one week I have no deposit.

When you call the banks branch it goes to a voice mail of which I called yesterday and today and no reply. Once this is over will visit closing accounts. I guess that’s why they’re called banksters.
