Fast Tax Services

Terrible Experience

Had a terrible experience today at Fast Tax Services. I was scheduled to meet the accountant at 11:00am and when arrived the front desk asked me if I had the list of items they indicated on a list.

They did not provide this list in advance of our meeting.

Afterwards, as i am checking through to verify that i have all the items they requested they asked to make copies of my 2018 tax info I brought with me.

While i verify i have all my documents, They made copies and gave all of it to the tax accountant.

Then, realizing i needed one form I proceeded to complete ( which could have been done with the accountant).

I Completed it at 11: 25 then I had to sit and wait until 12:10 while others behind me were seen.

Finally , at 1210 I left as I had been waiting way too long and the tax accountant was making no effort to meet with me.

Very disappointed and will not be going back to this tax accountant again.

  1. Professionalism

Professionalism and the friendly familiar faces .

  2. Its a scam.

What attracted me to this place was the reviews. I think most of these reviews were written by the employees, friends and family members to give this business exposure. It’s a small hole in the wall with little to no waiting room for clients which tells you it’s best to have an appointment otherwise be ready to stand because this place is far from being “Fast “.

An hour to an hour and a half is about the average time they spent per customer. The prices were off the wall and I have been to about at least 6 different businesses from H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt to the smaller businesses that help you get the big refunds that people don’t mind if there’s 30 people in front of them they will wait their turn.

They quoted me $250 to mail my taxes and without receiving a tax refund. I declined to get them processed but still wanted to charge me $85 for an hour of their time. Looking at that establishment it did not look like anyone deserve to earn $85 an hour. Totally shady experience .

Look up Antionette’s Taxes in La Puente they have pictures in their walls of the crazy lines they are known for and a waiting room with 50 chairs. Just a suggestion.
