Egumball uses shady advertising to fool customers.
I am embarrassed to say that I was fooled by this company. These guys call themselves Google Support and claims to bring the website of companies on first page of google results. They would never tell you that they are from Egumball, atleast not sooner.
When they called me, I was already looking for a company which offered similar services. It was a cold calling and the person on the other side has few of my information. He called me with my name and said that he could help me find the best solution for google ranking in few weeks itself.
He assured that he was not from a company that makes false claims. His company in his words was the most responsible and successful one. He offered me a price that I was looking for. In $600, he said that he would do the needful and I would be on the top pages of Google.
I knew what the competition was outside, and it was no surprise for a company to offer such an affordable rate. So, I agreed to make the advance payment and asked him to connect me to my project manager. After few hours, I got a call back with the person incharge of my project. He provided me the payment details and sent me a mail to make the payment. I did as we agreed. I provided the credit card details.
He said that the money will be withdrawn in a couple of days. And, the work will start instantly. He asked me to send the details of my website. I did it right away. He never called after that. He did not even confirm on the mail that he received the details.
After a week, I called him again and this time, it was someone else picking that number. I described him all what happened a week before and asked if there was any confirmation about the process being started. He said that he would send me a mail with the details. That never happened either. So, I called them again and I had to explain everything again because I never spoke to the same person ever.
I understood that they were trying to push e away and decided to stop their payment and cancel the contract. I called my credit card company only to know that the payment was processed the next day of sending them the details itself. However, the agent said that the money would be withdrawn after a week.
I called the company and asked for a refund. They said that I can apply for that but did not mention that they would refund or not. I believe they like to keep customers in confusion to make the most of the situation. They ripped me off and I know I would have to forget about that amount. And yes, they did not charge $600, but charged me $800. We never talked about that price ever. These people are misleading and criminals.
Egumbell is a rip off
A representative from egumbell called me to place my company on search engine and claimed they were google. He went through the process with me and says he would send an a mail for approval and confirmed that there was no commitment,
I never received any approval and to my surprise I was charged 11344 in total. When I called to be refunded they explained they won’t refund. I will have to continue my complaint until I get reimbursed. They should be allowed to operate as they are a scam. They use google names.
Egumball - Shitty Scammer - Fake Reviews in Google - Must Be Banned
I worked with Egumball and i signed up for a month and i forgot, it seems they have kept taking $150 every month for the next 2 years until my accountant noticed about it and brought it to my attention – I called Egumball and i tried to tell them that they have been taking money from my bank account without any invoices, they simply said I signed up – How come a company does not provide monthly invoice – but take monthly subscription fee. ALL PEOPLE IN EGUMBALL ARE SHITTY SCAMMERS STAY AWAY – BETTER BAN THIS COMPANY AND SEND ALL EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYER TO JAIL FOR SCAMMING AND STEALING PEOPLE MONEY.
This company is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with a big con job they make a lot of blind promises and don’t deliver my website visits actually decreased once they started working with me they won’t give you a progress report and they won’t call unless you owe them money I am so sorry I even got involved with these people they are not honest with you about anything and what gets me is the agreement they con you into is one sided you have to commit to twelve months but they won’t commit to any results they can take your money and do nothing and you still have to pay or they will hound you to death why aren’t they this diligent in working for us I’m not paying for something I was promised and didn’t get

Then the same guy continues to harass us day after day for payment we don’t owe. By the end we paid them over 1.7K and received NOTHING! Now they want more for a “settlement” of our account!!!!!
They demand additional payment of $1074.00!!!
They are a total scam, they did nothing, my rating never increased on Google and Google Support denies that they have any type of Partnership with them.
If you get a call from them my advise is to hang up and never take another call from them.

Took my money but sure did not provide the service they promised. The website they created didn’t have my phone number. And as I checked Google I was working at a different office. When I went to cancel service they took way too long…they got another payment and still wanted 100 dollars to close the account.

I recorded the initial conversation and started to do some research after they tried force me to some 12 months contract. They said they were going to take me to collections. They promise they are the best at google marketing, world leader in google marketing, google recommended marketing company as well. ALL LIES and the original person said she was from Google Maps Support. Notifying google of that. I did a little more digging and found that they have a website https://www.mapssupport.com.

I had a horrible experience with Egumball. This company mentioned on the contract that in case my web site was not put up in a period of 30 days, a full refund would be given to me. There was also no clause on the contract which gave them authority to make payments electronically. When they deducted money from my bank account without any authorization, I was stunned. I instantly cancelled my service and they told me that they had my bank details with authorization to deduct more money. This is ILLEGAL and BREAKING THE LAW!
My bank verified everything and told me that I was right. One cannot remove money from another account just because they possess bank information. The money was refunded by the bank since this unethical and immoral company broke the law. I did not even get through to these people. They are absolute criminals. I will keep filing charges on them and my bank will refund any money they take in the future although these prospects are a little worrying to say the least. In fact, if you see here, another individual has also posted about a terrible experience with Egumbell. These people label themselves as Google Support and will claim to bring your webpage on the very first page of the online search results.
When they called this person, it was cold calling. The customer care executive assured this complainant that the best Google rankings solution would be found within only a few weeks. He also told the complainant that there would be no false claims and that everything would be done within a sum of $600. As a result, the complainant agreed to make the advance payment owing to the affordable rate. The project in charge called back the complainant sometime later and gave payment details along with sending a mail asking for the payment. The complainant gave credit card details and the company in charge stated that work would instantly start on the project and asked for all website details.
The complainant sent all information right away. The person never called up after this time and did not even issue a mail confirmation about receiving the details. When called after around a week, someone else picked up. When the aggrieved party narrated the entire situation, the new person stated that an email would be sent containing all details. However, this did not happen as well. Again, the complainant called and explained everything to another company person. The payment was processed by the company on the very next day of sending them all the details. The money would be withdrawn after a week is what the agent fraudulently stated beforehand. The complainant wanted to cancel the contract and asked for a refund by calling the company. They stated that refunds can be applied for without saying yes or no. These guys ripped off this hapless individual just like they did to me. This is even worse and they charged $800 instead of $600 to this person too. These people are really misleading. Do not deal with them EVER!

Yes, as others, these scammers have been calling us for years non stop. I read the glassdoor reviews of their employees and they admitted egumball are the ones who are forcing their sales to lie and to say they are google and of course lie about what they can actually do. True scammers. Why are they not in jail????

Scam until the last dollar
these people promise everything and don’t support that claim. I fell for their pitch. One year contract. No monthly reports, no proof they ever did anything. When I cancelled my contract, more than 30 days ahead of my contract ending, mind you, they told me I cancelled less than 30 days, so I had to pay a pro-rated amount. I was busy, I didn’t check my email. My bad. I just discovered that they lied to me and they actually owe me my pro rated amount. Total scammers. Stay away and save yourself $2400. I wish I had!
