Earth Investments is a scam!
They are an unregistered and unlicensed investment. Their Terms of Services handicap the investors/players from taking any action against the company. The needlessly intricate withdrawal process discourages most people from even trying to get their money back. 21 July 2021
We know that scammers are targeting consumers searching for investments online, particularly through search engines like Google and Bing. Although some scammers offer high returns to tempt you into investing, they may also offer realistic returns to make their offer appear more legitimate. Those offering or promoting products or investment opportunities found through search engines are not necessarily authorized or regulated by the FCA. You can check the FCA Warning List for firms to avoid.
How to protect yourself
The FCA does not authorize most firms to promote and selling investments.
It would help if you only dealt with financial services firms that we authorize and check our Register to ensure they are.
If you use an unauthorized firm, you will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if things go wrong.
While we don’t regulate the sale of earth investments or their markets, we do regulate certain types of exchange contracts (often called ‘futures’), and we must authorize a firm to promote or sell them in the UK – check our Register to make sure the firm is authorized. You can also check our Warning List of firms to avoid.
The sale of earth investments may be part of a futures contract if you buy it for investment rather than commercial purposes. The physical asset is not delivered to you within seven days of agreeing to the purchase (e.g., if you agree to buy the stock wholly to make money when you sell them, but the stock has not even been mined).
We can only take action over earth investments when promoted or sold as a futures contract without our authorization.
Always be wary if you’re contacted out of the blue, pressured to invest quickly, or promised returns that sound too good to be true.
You should seriously consider seeking financial advice or guidance before investing. You should ensure that any firm you deal with is regulated by us and never take investment advice from the company that contacted you, as this may be part of the scam.

You can report the firm or scam to us by contacting our Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768 or using our reporting form.
Because the FCA does not regulate rare earth metals, your investment is not protected by the UK’s Financial Services Complaints and Compensation Scheme.
However, if your investment was a futures contract, we can take action.
If you have already invested in a scam, fraudsters are likely to target you again or sell your details to other criminals.
The follow-up scam may be completely separate or related to the previous fraud, such as an offer to get your money back or buy back the investment after paying a fee.
