Dr Victoria Veytsman DDS

Stay away of Victoria Veytsman, DDS

Avoid Dr. Victoria Veytsman and location as they are unprofessional, and the receptionist/customer service rep is extremely rude.

I booked an appointment to have my teeth whitened and was scheduled for my scheduled appointment and confirmed the next day.

The practice discriminates against people by race and class. On the day before my appointment, 1.5 hours before the time I was to be in the offices at the Madison location, I got a phone call from Victoria’s receptionist, canceling my appointment.

I was informed that the “Doctor” was behind schedule and that I was considered a last-minute thing since I was supposed to consider myself lucky to have an appointment! It’s true, and I’m a real doctor.

I also have a wealth of dental experience, spanning years of education, working in an internship, and practicing at two of the most prestigious hospital in NYC.

In the initial discussion, I talked to the second administrator, Laura. I think her name is mentioned. If you were working in Dentistry, you’d have heard of PPO and other networks. Are you kidding me? I can give you a class on the practice of dentistry and improve your excellent customer service.

Additionally, as a Doctor, you are required to assess the skills of the people you deal with, and, frankly, you’ve been unable to pass the test.

There was nothing you said about making impressions or giving trays because whitening will not remain with the daily consumption of food or drinks and may require an annual touch-up every couple of months.

For the receptionist Melissa You are immature, unprofessional, and funny. Refusing to cancel the appointment 1.5 hours before the appointment since the “Doctor” is backed up is a sign of poor skill in managing your calendar.

Making statements like, we have patients who are not ours shows the lack of care for patients as I could be a valued and new patient had you demonstrated professionalism. I’ve wasted my time, and am was quite dissatisfied with the conduct of the employees.

  1. Expensive Dentist

I had an experience with Dr. Victoria, a DDS based in NY, and I found the prices for her dentistry services to be relatively high compared to the service provided. While the quality of care was satisfactory, I felt the overall value did not meet my expectations. You may need to consider other options and explore different dentists to find the best fit for your needs.

  2. Dr. Victoria did a really bad root canal.

It was in the year 2019 when I consulted the clinic of Dr. Victoria Veytsman to get myself a root canal. After the consultation, I paid the fee for the day and went back home. After a day or two, I received a voicemail from the clinic explaining the expenses I needed to pay for the root canal apart from what was covered by my insurance.

I liked the way they told me about the cost being so transparent. However, the happiness was very short-lived. That was the only reason I chose to go with this dentist, even when the price seemed a little costlier than the other clinics.

When I went for the treatment, they started the preparation. After the local anesthesia, someone knocked on the door, and the doctor came with a paper explaining the bill again. There was some mistake in the bill earlier.

According to the new bill, I was supposed to pay almost double the price explained before. I had no option by then but to stay. But the problems for me did not end there. I was told that my roots were calcified. This is why it was difficult for the team to find that out.

I was told that there was a great chance of infection. Later wanted to get done with just the crown, leading to an incomplete root canal process. It was all so confusing that I finally asked to stop the treatment.

I further moved to another dentist for the process. When I explained my problem with Dr. Victoria’s clinic, the dentist informed me that they never cleaned the canals properly. And I ended up going through the complete process all over again.

My tooth was tricky, but the staff at dr. Victoria clinic was all irresponsible and incompetent. They tried to change the rates but never referred to the right expert, saying I would need an endodontist. But wanted to carry everything themselves for just a few extra bucks.

I had to pay hundreds of dollars for nothing. What’s even more frustrating is that they called a few days back saying I had an outstanding balance from the last visit. I told them I would visit the clinic in a few days to check the statement and pay the remaining balance if I found it correct.

But they did not wait for even a day, and my case was transferred to the collection team. Now, I am getting calls day in and out without any explanation. Also, my credit score has been affected for no reason. These guys are scammers, and they run a fraud.

Instead of helping people with problems with their teeth, they try to find opportunities to scam us. It is entirely unethical, and I warn everyone to stay clear of these con artists. My friend also got a call from the collection team who went for just cleaning her teeth. This is outrageous.
