Dr. Thomas Tri Quach

Lack Of Professionalism

I am a patient of Dr. Thomas Tri Quach who delivered my twin boys a few years back.

Following my ultrasound and after the birth, we were never given proof in writing that the twins are identical or fraternal.

We signed a permit to authorize Dr. Quach to obtain the record either from his records or those at Fountain Valley Hospital, the place of delivery.

It was a surprise to me that Dr. Quach reported he has no such record!

Subsequently, no results came from our signed permission, so I sent him a letter of concern. (The twins’ identity is a vital part of their ongoing health history.)

Nothing response came from my letter. I approached the doctor once more during my annual checkup visit.

I was shocked when he abrupt response was “why do you want to know?” I don’t open the mail box , so I did not see this letter.”

At this point, his assistant acknowledged that she saw the letter and already read it!

To this day, Dr. Quach has not responded to or fulfilled my request.

He told me figure out by myself by get a DNA test .

The lack of concern and further lack of professionalism that this doctor has shown toward me saddens, angers and disappoints me.

As a mother, I feel at a loss when my sons ask me questions about this subject. Has anyone else had this happen?

  1. I highly recommend Dr. Quach and his entire office.

I highly recommend Dr. Quach and his entire office. Everyone in the office is professional and friendly They have monitor my baby since begin of my wife’s pregnancy, and ultra sound her carefully.

When he help deliver my little 8bls+ baby girl, I must said he is an excelance Doctor. he has come to deliver my baby around afternoon, but my little girl still not come out yet. He waited for the right time and help deliver my little girl naturally.
Both my wife and my daughter are now healthy.

  2. He is a great doctor.

Dr. Quach and his wonderful staffs took great care of my wife since the first day she plan her pregnancy until the day my son was born a few weeks ago.

My wife has several complications during her pregnancy, but Dr. Quach helped us go through all her issues and delivered our baby smoothly at Memorial Coast hospital. He is a great doctor.

  3. This is my first time rating my favorite doctor with this rate.

This is my first time rating my favorite doctor with this rate. But I have no choice. I’ve been with Dr. Quach since I don’t even remember the year, because it’s been too long.

Anyway, Dr. Quach is still my fav OB doctor and his office staff (most of them, but not all) are still my fav too. However, I’ve experienced something different lately about his office especially his new staff.

At first, when I called to make an appointment to check on my breast when I feel a lump on it, that new staff said his office doesn’t have appointment for such thing. I was like stunt for a moment, you gotta be kidding me? he’s my OB doctor, he’s been doing that forever and now suddenly he doesn’t do that anymore? I finally got to co Nhu (my fav) and she put me in for appointment.

Doctor sent me out for Mammogram and ultrasound. I made the next appointment in case the result come out and need doctor read on it.
When I took that mammogram and ultrasound, I got a paper result on that day saying I’m ok, nothing wrong with the come out.

Normally when the result comes out ok, the office would call me or I call the office, they will tell me the result ok, no need to come, so I can avoid the $40 copay. Again, this, I need to check with my insurance company, because I think when you come back to the doctor office for the result of a test, there’s no need for paying co-pay because you already paid last time for that same matter.

  4. This doctor is a TERRIBLE doctor.

This review is based 100% on direct personal experience with this doctor from a high risk pregnancy experience. I hope my honest review helps a lot of people to AVOID a BAD doctor, waste of time and energy, and negative experiences and unnecessary risks.

This doctor is a TERRIBLE doctor. He DOES NOT have experience on how to handle high risk, complicated pregnancies. He does not want to treat patients who have complicated pregnancies. I was told by him bluntly and rudely that he wanted me to go see the previous doctor that I had with my first pregnancy because he did not know how to treat me and did not want me as his patient because of my pregnancy complication.

Furthermore, he even went on about reviewing my file with his office, and I was questioned in a rude manner by him as to why I refused to sign the arbitration agreement when I visited his office years ago.

I was lectured and pressured to reconsider signing the arbitration agreement like I was required to in order to get treatment from him. He lamely tried to convince me to sign with reason that the agreement required by HIS insurance was to protect ME if I was going to SUE him. LMAO

  5. the patient might have emergency problem.

Last year I had a surgery with Dr. Tri Quach. He was not care about his patient. He said I just need to stay at the hospital one day. The second date at 6:30 pm, I asked the nurse to call him to come to hospital sign the discharge for me. However, the nurse said he didn’t answer his cell phone.

He came to the hospital around 8:30 pm and sign the discharge for me. If a doctor are responsible, he will answer the phone call immediately because it was a call from a nurse of hospital. Sometime, the patient might have emergency problem.
