Dr. Satia Jagat

Dr. Satia Jagat is the worst physician I’ve come across in years. He has taken care of my parents for years.

Every time they have a sniffle or cough, he prescribes antibiotics. No wonder my dad got an antibiotic resistant strain of staph.

He is useless to us now as my mom faces the end of her life. He won’t allow hospice to come in and assist her or the family because he “won’t get paid by Medicare”.

That is not the truth so I’m not sure if he’s lying to manipulate my mom or if he’s just grossly misinformed. Mom has always said she wants to die at home with hospice.

She’s refused chemotherapy, yet he continues to try to talk her into it – even though her oncologist told her she has 2 weeks left to live!

He is an old-school, misguided doctor with a serious God complex. Please don’t risk your comfort or you life by seeing the doctor.
