Dr. Jane Fang
The Worst ServiceI’ve been a patient of Dr. Jane Fang’s for at least 10 years, and while she is fantastic, I cannot wait to sign up to a different doctor due to her pathetic office.
Her office has simply the worst service you will ever encounter.
After a decade of giving her firm my insurance money, I had to reschedule one appointment this year due to work and was told the waiting list to get back on to see her was three months long.
I was never able to get back into her schedule because the few times they had open in the last four months of 2012, I had work appointments.
They have moved to one of the least accessible locations in the City, where you have to pay $9/hour for parking (since there’s little public transportation to the new site).
Because you’re apt to wait a half-hour or more, better count that as $18.
Try to contact them. Just try it. Any phone option will send you into a hold pattern of at least 20 minutes (if you want to waste that much time trying).
Leave a message and the voicemail says they might get back to you within 24 hours. Wow!
Can you imagine someone in the private sector doing that? Seems they don’t need any more business or favorable reviews.
Then my insurance made a silly mistake, and her office wouldn’t follow up.
I sorted it out with the insurance company, but two months later I still have no idea whether her office finalized the payment.
One person called me but wouldn’t leave his name. They won’t call me back now, and I can’t find anyone to answer the phone.
Must be nice to have moved to an ultra-swishy new office where you put the doctor and staff first before any patient needs.
