Dr. Jorge Garcia
No Customer Service SkillsThis place is not recommended. This was very close to my home, so I decided to give it another chance after selecting a family physician through my insurance.
It is difficult to schedule an appointment, and the staff lacks customer service skills.
I was reminded of the rude and indifferent post-communist era customer service workers who worked there by the ladies answering phones.
When they are closed for lunch, do not try to call them between noon and one o’clock in the afternoon.
My primary provider’s doctor was amiable, and I had a pleasant first experience. She was thorough and seemed to care.
She stated that she would always take the time to see me if I was experiencing symptoms, as it was the only way for her to diagnose and collect samples.
I was tempted to accept her offer, so I emailed her.
She said she could wait (2,3 weeks later) and that we would need to schedule through sweeties on their phone lines.
Because she was booked for three months, I also had to choose another doctor.
The new female doctor couldn’t diagnose me when I got to the appointment. My symptoms weren’t there yet.
She suggested that I request an appointment when I’m experiencing symptoms. Here we are again…
Their nurses also think they can lie to them about anything and that you are stupid enough to believe it.
It was an orthopedic brace in my case. Although the doctor claimed they had it and that my insurance covered it, the nurse could not find one and wanted to get rid.
She made up a story about how the ones they have would be more expensive than those you can buy at the pharmacy.
Never again. Recommendations from primary/family doctors are welcome!
