Dr. Charles Sohn

Horrible Experience

Saw Dr. Charles Sohn yesterday for sharp pains I had experienced over the weekend.

He talked over me the whole time, interrupted me, didn’t let me even finish a sentence.

He made me feel like I was asking ridiculous questions and even discounted me saying “most people don’t feel that” when I told him what I was feeling inside my chest at the time of the incident.

He rushed me out of the exam room and was walking me up to the front when he stopped at the next room because someone was in there measuring.

He was more interested in someone measuring the room than he was hearing about my heart in the exam room!

He stopped to talk to the people inside as I stood there awkwardly waiting for him to finish and walk me to the front.

Of course they’re booked and can’t possibly do my stress test for another month.

Horrible experience! Dr. Sohn needs to learn to be a better listener and not make patients feel stupid!!

  1. Laws never protect the people though.

he world is going sour and they are taking you with them. A good doctor helps people…bad doctors are money hungry and be careful with this one because they are for sure money hungry.

I was 100 % willing to pay anything even above my insurance. I thought there was a code that doctor has to follow. Laws never protect the people though.

  2. Never Again

I have a Covered California plan that is a PPO. They are listed on my list of doctors approved. They will not be the only ones getting this review. I called 16 doctors that are on the list of people I can call and they all turned me down. It may be covered California but I pay almost $200 a month and for what no one is even willing to see me. Then they wonder why people don’t get insurance. Its a scam either pay at the end of the year or monthly but you are still not going to get any services.

  3. Scammer

Worst Cardiologist ever, my husband had a heart attack and needed a stent put in immediately, the er got him through, and Dr. Sohn took his time putting the stent in, thank goodness there was another doctor in the room telling him to hurry up. He told the other doctor what for?

He is a goner he waited too long to come in and he was going to put a stent too small in him. The other doctor told him to put a bigger stent in he told him it wasn’t going to matter. Dr. Sohn had no idea that my husband was not unconscious and he heard every word he said. He started moving when he figured out he was caught.

He did put the stent in right grateful for that but I give the credit for that to the other doctor. He never let me know he was out and in a room, he finally called me when I was in the room with my husband, he told me he wouldn’t make it through the night and it wasn’t his fault we waited too long we thought he had the flu. I told him I am with him now and he seems to be doing fine awake and alert.

He didn’t show up until the next day, asked if we had any questions while looking at his cell phone and left. My husband stayed with him for a few months until he decided his patients looked terrible and went to a different doctor, that was six years ago, his heart is stronger than what Dr. Sohn originally told him and he is with a doctor now who cares. I would not suggest anyone going to Dr. Sohn unless you want more surgeries so he can make more money
