Dr. Andrea Hui Austin

Make an appointment

To make an appointment with Dr. Hui Austin, we had our first interaction by phone on 5/30/18 at 3:00.

I found the receptionist impatient and exasperated.

She said that I was busy on the two first dates she offered.

She was eager to leave the phone.

Although I found her approach irritating, I will continue with the appointment and write a review once I have completed my work.

  1. What a mistake!

This is a huge mistake! October 16th, 2018, is the first available appointment with Dr. Austin. It is only one month until Dr. Austin’s first appointment. The cystic acne he has been experiencing would have disappeared by then. The receptionist requested my credit card to hold the position. She cited its policy, which is similar to making a reservation at a restaurant.
This clinic does not accept insurance, and some procedures are non-necessary. However, I understand that the clinic does not take insurance, and many systems are optional. It would be a great deal for me to give my credit card if they could accommodate my son within a few days. But a month is unacceptable. My first encounter with this clinic was a positive one. I feel they care more about their profits than their patients. Consider other options or be prepared to RSVP with your Credit Card for a future appointment.

The receptionist also said that a “pimple” is not life-threatening, while it is a severe condition. This may be true, but it is very unprofessional and insensitive to tell a client seeking help. It is hoped that the receptionist doesn’t tell clients that a wrinkle isn’t a life-threatening condition.
