Dr. Mabrie is an excellent doctor, however is staff is incredibly difficult to work with. I had gotten some fillers back in 2012 and at that time Dr. Mabrie allowed using part of syringe and saving the rest for another appointment. So, after a few months I called back to schedule an appointment and use the rest of the product and his office staff was initially confused with how much I had left and then later said that the product needed to be used within 6 months and since it was six months later they couldn’t use it.
This was never clarified during the appointment so I asked to speak to the office manager.. I left her 2 messages back in 2012 and never heard back. Fast forward March 2017- I called back because I thought I’d give his office another chance.. I actually spoke directly to the office manager about my account and if they ever figured out what happened with the remaining product… She said she would call me back the next day and its been several weeks and I STILL haven’t heard back. Very disappointing especially because Dr. Mabrie is such an amazing doctor!

Dr. Mabrie is the way to go for any facial reconstruction needs. I will ALWAYS recommend here. Staff is super friendly and personable. I was really nervous for my treatment and they were able to talk me through it, which helped calm me down.
They’re very knowledgeable about what the practice. I asked a bunch of questions that were all answered without hesitation. Over all, it was a very soothing experience that left me feeling better about myself and definitely boosted my confidence.
I will keep coming back for my treatments as long as I am able!

Dr. Mabrie is fantastic, he is very professional, has a light expert touch and I totally trust his vision of a balanced face. But I am sorry, being 1 hour and 15 minutes late is not correct. Either your office is disorganized or you are not respecting your clients’ time.
After having several skin cancer lesions removed from my nose
After having several skin cancer lesions removed from my nose, I was left with some very unsightly scarring. Although happy to be cancer free, the prominent scars served as a constant reminder of this traumatic experience.
I began to research scar revision surgery, and made appointments with quite a few surgeons for consultations. Ultimately, I decided to have Dr. Mabrie perform the surgery for me, as he was the only one who seemed to understand how the scar affected me emotionally, as well as physically.

Dr Mabrie is an injectable genius!
Dr Mabrie is an injectable genius! I always feel refreshed and am extremely happy with my results every time. Sometimes I let many extra months go by, and forget how much of a difference a tiny touch up makes! I spend way more on jars of expensive cream that don’t give me even a 16th of the satisfaction! I honestly don’t know how his pricing compares to other cosmetic surgeons, and I never will, because I wouldn’t trust my face in anyone else’s hands!!!

Go somewhere else, I should've trusted my instincts.
From the picture, he has a nice smile and looks pretty nice, but I had a strange feeling. But when I got there, he hardly smiled and I felt very distant the whole time.
They also have this virtual consultation tool on their site so he can review your pics before you go to the in-office consultation (which is $150 btw). He reviewed the pics I sent and he said he was CONFIDENT that he can achieve my goal. When I got there, it was a whole different story. He was anything BUT confident. I mean..
I didn’t change or anything from the time of that photo..I said “hmmm I like what you did with a patient you had on your website”. He didn’t even bother to look. Not to mention, he was very rude during the consultation. He kept opening packages and talking on his iphone. I didn’t believe it when another reviewer said he was eating cookies during their consult, but now I do.

You won't be disappointed by Dr. Mabrie!
I recently had a foundation treatment with juviderm voluma and restylane – WOW is all I can say! The process wasn’t painful, and I only had some minor swelling under my eyes.
It looks absolutely amazing! I was super impressed with Dr. Mabrie’s attention to detail & the symmetry of my face. On top of everything, I love that the entire office is so sleek and stylish with the friendliest staff. You won’t be disappointed by Dr. Mabrie!

David Mabrie appears to be qualified in his ability to perform injections. I have not had a procedure done by him. I am interested in fixing a botched nose job I had when I was 14 that has really affected my life. I like the fact that Mabrie does injections that there may be less risk and less of a chance of worsening my nose by making further alterations.
I saw the doctor a year ago and it was expensive to see him and the procedure he offered is even expensive than others. I called today and his secretary said he would not see me again without repaying the 150 dollars for consultation fee. I really just wanted a few quick minutes of his time. She even suggested that I just make an appointment to have the treatment without consulting the doctor first. There office seems just about the money and charging those in need way too much.
His staff was friendly though and his receptionist was nice to chat with while I waited.
About a year or so ago, I flew from across the country to see him as I needed fillers in multiple challenging areas and I wanted optimal results even if it cost all my savings. I researched heavily and saw that he received rave reviews. However, my experience with him wasn’t great in the least. My results were very minimal and my appointment was rushed.

I'm not doubting the quality of Dr. Mabrie's work, but his prices are astronomical compared to almost every other place.

I am not wealthy, but was willing to invest a little now in order to have some tasteful rejuvenation done. But on my first (and to date, only) appointment where I was supposed to have Restalyne injected into my tear troughs to reduce the dark hollows under my eyes along with some Rejuvederm Voluma in my cheekbones, he instead only injected 1/10 of the syringe of Restalyne under my tear troughs and put the rest in my chin, resulting in an intense bruise and and odd jutting.
I consider him to be both insensitive and unprofessional.
I don’t agree with some of the other reviewers that Dr. Mabrie is so personable and easy to talk to. At my appointment he seemed reserved and not especially warm but I could deal with that as long as he had the skills.
We came up with a plan for fillers at one appointment but a couple of days before I was scheduled to have the actual injections he had his “assistant” call me to tell me that he was not willing to do the work. I was confused obviously and tried to ask questions.
She said that one of the problems was my skin being “thin” near my eyes but that they could refer me somewhere else. What??!! Why would I want a referral if you’re saying this shouldn’t be done? Are you saying he can’t do it but someone else may be able to?? Why didn’t he tell me this at the appointment?

Let me start this review by saying I am AA, a mother, happily married to an attorney, and I am Doctorally prepared. As anyone can attest, considering facial augmentation of any degree is a very private and sensitive decision. I literally poured through the reviews and photos/video diaries, etc. . before I settled on a consult with Dr. David C. Mabrie.
Unfortunately, the individual I met with on left me extremely disappointed and befuddled. I will not argue that Dr. Mabrie is perhaps very talented in his profession and by the many glowing comments I have no doubt that his patients are very satisfied. My experience and consequently the perception I have of Dr. Mabrie following my visit leads me to believe that he caters to a certain “type” of clientele.
I definitely recommend him!
I had Radiesse injected under my eyes at the advice of another plastic surgeon and I hated it. So I looked up surgeons in San Francisco who specialize in injectables, that is how I came to be a patient of Dr. Mabrie.
I have now been treated by him 3 times and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! He is professional, has a great bedside manner, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s easy on the eyes! I definitely recommend him!
I did not want to go back to that office.
I regretted coming here. I had dermal fillers done by Dr. Mabrie twice, and both times I had to get them dissolved. The first time, I came out of the office with one one cheek way higher than the other.
The second time, I had lip fillers and they looked bumpy and asymmetrical. I had to get them dissolved by another doctor, because I did not want to go back to that office.
