These People Are Awful
I am yet again completely disgusted with Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. I submitted a payoff request ELEVEN DAYS AGO! I have received nothing from CHFA.
I called today to ask about my payoff statement since we all know February is a short month and the 1st is coming up quicker than expected.
Shocker, they have absolutely no record of my submission.
When asked where I sent my form, I told this person that I followed the instructions on the website and sent to [email protected]…. She had no clue what I was talking about.
CHFA doesn’t even update their website instructions OR their employees??? Nice!
The incompetence of CHFA extends even further due to CHFA sending me letters on THEIR letter head stating this loan is paid in full back in 2014.
I called multiple times to confirm that because I knew that couldn’t be true. I certainly hadn’t paid it off.
Every time I called I was assured that it was paid off and when I asked if they would submit me to a collection agency for delinquency once they figured out their mistake they ASSURED me they’d never do that.
Guess what? That’s EXACTLY what they did to me.
So now, here I am and all I want to do is to pay off this stupid loan and make these incompetent assholes go away and they can’t even do that.
This has been a nightmare for me. I am tired of having to pick up the pieces for CHFA.
This is your job, not mine! I STRONGLY recommend finding another place to finance your home!!!
This was my first home and I regret every day that I financed with CHFA.
These people are awful and they are terrible at their jobs.
