Very Poor Customer Service

Very poor customer service at Colonial Federal Savings Bank in Quincy.

I was told by someone who works there I could deposit my payroll check in the ATM because it scans the checks in.

When I found out this was not true it was too late.

My regular branch in Holbrook is great, but unfortunately they could not help me because the people in Quincy could care less.

This happened at 5:02 pm on Friday now my mortgage will be late.

Not to mention I am broke for the weekend. I am moving to a bank that has better hours.

This bank needs to get with the times or go by way of the dinosaurs.

I will miss my Holbrook friends. Because the fish rots from the head.

    At time of need this bank time and time again is awful. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen from a bank. I understand they have guidelines that protects them and customers. But it’s the way they talk to people like we are bothering them. I also didn’t have an account and went in and wanted to just change sixteen 20 dollar bills for four 100s and the denied me because I didn’t have an account. I went across the street and Santander bank exchanges it for me

    How can you be so rude during a time like this. Thank you Santander for helping me out. I’m also a Vet and the didn’t care. The sad part. It starts at the top. It’s management that teaches them how to act

    Awesome bank. Great people. I’ve been a customer for 20+ years and always found the staff to be extremely helpful and accommodating. They’ve assisted with multiple mortgages, refinances and car loans. Great neighborhood institution.
