My mother had some concerns about her investments. She did make some profits in the last three months with Cold Spring Advisory Group but found it too less per the claims made by her broker.

Therefore, she approached Cold Spring Advisory Group for help. I remember her calling me and explaining everything in detail before talking to a consultant from the Cold Spring.

She said that she invested over $50,000. When she checked the transaction reports provided by her broker, she found too much of deductions made in the name of fees that wasn’t discussed initially. Plus, her account was on margin, which she never agreed to.

After listening to everything, I knew she had a strong case at hand. But she wanted to follow through professionally. That is why she suggested that I speak with someone from Cold Spring.

Starting, these guys are obscene. They would not listen clearly and speak over you. My mother is a very knowledgeable person and knows about her rights.

However, in her late 70s, she isn’t always on top of her chores. She does forget about things. That is why she writes everything in her diary regarding investing.

Plus, she had the complete terms signed off on papers by the broker she was dealing with and every month’s reports on investment.

When I spoke with the consultant from Cold Spring, he immediately asked me to forward all the details to his email. And I did right away.

I waited for a reply for almost a week, thinking that he might be assessing everything from his end. However, that wasn’t the case at all. Instead, he forgot about my email and never checked it until I called again after a week.

When I reminded him about the mail, he said that there was a lot of work he had to take care of. So, he often forgets. He mentioned that I was responsible for calling him a little earlier to remind him about the email.

That was disgusting. He disconnected and called back only after 10 minutes, saying that the case wasn’t strong enough. That was a right-off blow to my expectations, and I was left shocked. He did not even explain why I could not go with the case and file a complaint against the broker.

So, I called my attorney and verified the details with him. It did not take much time for him to recognize the scam, suggesting I go with the complaint.

He even prepared the complete paperwork. On the other hand, these people from Cold Spring seemed incompetent and inexperienced.

Plus, they do not bother about your problems. Empathizing is not their job. But as a human being, one must have the decency to reply with responsibility. I am never going to suggest anyone try the services of Cold Spring.

Instead, I would recommend finding someone else. These guys are scammers. This guy even had the nerve to call and ask for the consultation fee. Completely disgusting.
