The Most Horrific Experience
Christine Kani would be a nightmare to work with. It was the worst experience we had working with her.
She made a mistake in our preapproval. She suddenly reduced our preapproval amount as if it were nothing, and she didn’t apologize for her error.
We had already placed a bid on a house with the higher preapproval. (Thankfully, we didn’t get that house.) She was also slow to respond to my questions.
After several communications with the Manager, we were finally allowed to transfer our account to another broker.
WF will not transfer accounts to another office in the interest of a “noncompetition clause.”
However, if you raise an issue with a manager, they can let you transfer without going through the entire process again.
Things were smooth after our account was transferred to a new broker (in a separate office) without any stress.
It was amazing to see the difference a mortgage consultant can make.
The new consultant immediately looked at our application and was shocked by Christine’s error.
