Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

Worst experience ever

Went in with a intention of trading my 2008 Toyota rav 4 with an open mind got handed to Brad Fraser Worst experience ever Didn’t pay attention to what I wanted ideally was more concerned about laughing and cracking jokes and pushing me out the dealership to do home work due to it being 7-8 pm and his other customers beucase of time

I realized there were rebates available and me making 15 k a month previously and before mentioning my other job to help me qualify $1000 down room to move I continued to follow up all day the next day when told me I would have an answer and options by330pm Got a response 7with a sorry was with a customer haha and then asked for an answer and he said you don’t qualify

Me being in 3 years of car sales for dodge previously know everyone qualifies for something so the next day I find out I qualify for 20k and there is rebates on cars to help me get into a new car would have been nice to know at the time still in the market today never I repeat never have I ever meet a uneducated car salesmen who openly admitted to not being committed to a dealership btw

he said ” if I get any better pay opportunity from another dealer I bounce ” and to be I felt Mia guided and handed off to someone who doesnt care about the customer more then numbers I don’t know why they hired this shady guy by will not recommend anyone shop from. Here let alone home there are other dealships with in 20 miles that treat and sit down with you and lay out options and not to mention not flirt with there gf who is with you

  1. The constant e-mails and flyers in the mail are pretty off putting.

I have to admit the service has always been good to me. I just used the Chrysler Service Center (purchased a used ’08 PT). Over the past 8 years I used the VW Service Center (01 Beetle) at this same location. The Service Techs have always been friendly and helpful but as a 6 sigma trained individual, I can tell their internal communication could use some process improvement.

My biggest complaint is the marketing and it seems to be a trend with another dealership i deal with for my Xterra. The constant e-mails and flyers in the mail are pretty off putting. It would be one thing if it was once every six months, but instead it comes in weekly.

  2. Was not happy with Sales Rep. Rudy!

Purchased my Jeep from here about 4 years ago. Was not happy with Sales Rep. Rudy! Promised this and that, before purchase and failed to comply. One of the things was a spare key for my Jeep.

He said there was a spare key, he just had to “look for it”. Never heard back nor replied to my emails. I wanted my spare key! Didn’t hear back!

The Service Dept. is awesome! My service guy is Dave Flores! Very helpful and great customer service! No complaints there.

  3. Was really happy with my salesperson.

Was really happy with my salesperson. My finance rep tried to include a $3.000 after market warranty but after I threatened to leave the dealership he took the service contract off. As a side note,

I was able to buy a full factory warranty from Mopar for $1,200 with no interest. The only other issue was that my salesperson did not respond to a couple of questions once the sale was completed.

  6. The customer service over the phone is sub-par at best.

I recently bought a used car from this dealership, and had a wonderful experience with the salesman and with the financial officer at the time of purchase. Had I written a review at that time, I would’ve given a 5-star rating.

However, I’ve tried calling the dealer about issues I’ve had and every time I get directed to a different person or line that tells me they will call back when the person I need to speak to is in the office.

The thing is, the person I need to speak to changes with each attempted call, and I cannot get my issues resolved or my simple questions answered. The customer service over the phone is sub-par at best.

  7. Never Again

I turned around and drove back to the service department, which was suddenly a ghost town with not one advisor to be found. It was seriously like I remember Fred Flintstone in the opening credits stopping everything he was doing as soon as the the sundial struck 5:00, clocking out and rushing home. Even the lone mechanic was about to close the garage door when I grabbed his attention.

  8. Great customer service .

Great customer service . Dan Boardman is top notch . He is attentive and very knowledgeable and ready to assist.

  9. We'll be taking our vehicles there move forward.

Great service on our jeep. Lee Sorenson and Leo Leufkens are top notch. We had a carpet issue we took back to the original dealer in Avondale which was not repaired correctly.

We called Chapman, explained the issue, and Lee said his team would take care of it. Dropped the jeep off to Leo and Chapman service did a great job repairing the jeep. We’ll be taking our vehicles there move forward.

  10. He is extremely rude!!!

I paid close attention to how my truck ran over the next few weeks. Again I noticed a slight coolant leak, engine fan turning on abnormally often and this time I even noticed the needle in the temperature gauge never even moved no matter how long the engine ran for.

That got me thinking, so I took it to someone I trusted, and that was indeed the case. On Dodges, when the thermostats go bad, they lock in the “open” position, this can cause the fan to stay on and if it’s bad, even a slight coolant leak. I also was told that the only thing the guy did to “fix” my check engine light was unplug it from the thermostat.

  11. Brandon was the best!

Brandon was the best! I have bought many cars over the years and have never had a better experience. He went above and beyond to get us a smokin’ deal on the exact vehicle we wanted.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the dealership is beautiful! Tons of inventory and if they don’t have it, they can get it and beat any other dealer. Trust me we shopped around and Chapman was the one who came through! Thanks Brandon and team!!

  12. I have enjoyed coming to this new service facility.

Jeep Service: Bill Wardingley does a fine job. He knows the vehicles and is great at keeping you informed. I have enjoyed coming to this new service facility.

  13. They are a scam.

So, I brought in my Jeep to get a headlight bulb changed and look at the A/C as it was blowing hot air about a month and a half ago. They call me after doing an inspection and informed me that the radiator is also cracked and leaking.

Thus, the complete radiator needed to be replace ($1,000). I told them I would like to hold off as that didn’t make sense for a 2013 Jeep. They proceeded to tell me it is very important to get this fixed as you don’t want to run with an overheated engine. My dad has run an automotive shop in CA for over 30 years so I always call to discuss with him prior to getting things fixed. A cracked radiator in a 3 year old vehicle made no sense to him (but possible) and advised me to get a second opinion. So,

I brought my Jeep to get a second opinion at another shop in the valley, who notified me after testing for a day, they did not uncover any cracks or leaking with the radiator (through pressure testing etc.).

Lets just say I will never take my car to this dealership again for service… They cannot be trusted. Please everyone go get a second opinion on recommendations from dealerships! They are a scam.

  14. Bad Service Provide

This was amongst the most unpleasant buying experiences I’ve ever had.

  15. Not doing that again.

Bought my Jeep there in . I went in for an oil change on Tuesday, 11/28, and it took 2 1/2 hours. Not doing that again.
