Carpenter and Langford did our business and some personal taxes for over 6 years. Switched to new accountant, will not return – ever – and would not recommend.
1. Gave bad / wrong advice about an out of state tax matter which will cost thousands in penalties (Paid for separate meeting outside of tax season to discuss and follow up).
2. Forgot to do our business taxes – we did not find out until I called on April 13 to ask if they needed us to sign something causing knock-on issues with personal taxes.
3. Forgot our taxes again.
I should have switched 2 years earlier – still undoing the mess.
I don’t know what happened to this place. Pains me to yelp about this but must advise others to Avoid.
